Welcome to JNTU Fast Updates. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the JNTU Fast Updates mobile application (“App”) and website at www.jntufastupdates.com (“Website”), collectively referred to as the “Services.” By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by accessing the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Services

JNTU Fast Updates provides the following services:

• University Updates: News, notifications, exam results, and academic updates related to JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) and affiliated universities.
• SGPA/CGPA Calculator: A tool to calculate Semester Grade Point Average and Cumulative Grade Point Average based on your academic grades.
• Article Browser: Access to articles, guides, and educational content.
• File Downloads: Access to downloadable academic resources and materials.
• Push Notifications: Real-time alerts for university updates and announcements.
• Bookmarks: Save articles for offline reference.
• Premium Subscription: Ad-free experience through in-app purchase.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

Certain features of the App (such as the SGPA/CGPA Calculator) require you to sign in using your Google account. By signing in, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Services.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or offensive comments on articles.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, databases, or other users’ accounts.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract content from the App or Website.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• Use the Services to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security-related features of the Services.
• Use ad-blocking tools or modify the App to bypass advertisements (for free-tier users).

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content provided through the Services, including but not limited to articles, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the App itself, is the property of JNTU Fast Updates or its content licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5.2 User-Generated Content

By posting comments or submitting content through the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Services. You represent that you own or have the right to submit such content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

5.3 Third-Party Content

Some content accessible through the Services may originate from third-party sources, including university websites and official announcements. Such content remains the property of its respective owners.

6. In-App Purchases & Premium Subscription

6.1 Premium Features

We offer a “Calculator Lifetime Premium” in-app purchase that provides an ad-free experience within the calculator section. Premium status is tied to your Google Play account.

6.2 Payment

All payments are processed through Google Play Store. By making a purchase, you agree to Google Play’s terms of service and payment terms. Prices are displayed in your local currency and may include applicable taxes.

6.3 Refunds

Refund requests are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Google Play Store’s refund policies.

6.4 Temporary Access

Non-premium users may gain temporary access to ad-free features by watching rewarded advertisements. This temporary access does not constitute a purchase or subscription.

7. Advertisements

The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of advertisements including banner ads, interstitial ads, native ads, rewarded ads, and app open ads. Ad content is determined by Google and is subject to Google’s advertising policies.

8. Push Notifications

By enabling push notifications, you consent to receive alerts regarding university updates, exam results, new articles, and other relevant information. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

9. Downloads & File Access

The App provides access to downloadable files and resources hosted on our file servers. You agree to use downloaded files only for personal, educational purposes. Redistribution or commercial use of downloaded files without permission is prohibited.

10. Calculator Accuracy

The SGPA/CGPA Calculator is provided as an educational tool for reference purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, calculations are based on the grade points and credit hours you enter. We do not guarantee that calculations will match official university results. Always verify your results with your university’s official records. See our Disclaimer for more details.

11. Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep the Services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without prior notice.
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability.
• Update the App, which may require you to download the latest version to continue using certain features.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Premium subscription, if any.
• We are not responsible for any loss of data, academic consequences, or decisions made based on information provided through the Services.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JNTU Fast Updates, its owners, operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Third-Party Links & Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
