Vision Reservations for Meritorious Sports Persons, Ex-Servicemen (including dependents of those killed in action) and PWD will be given as per Rules and on Horizontal / Interlocking basis.

AGE

Note: Relaxation of 5 Years in upper age for domiciled in J&K State between 1.1.1980 & 31.12.1989 will be given.

QUALIFICATION:

Junior Trainee: SSC with full time ITI / Diploma in Engineering in the following Trades/ Disciplines (60% marks in regular ITI / Diploma in Engineering for Gen/OBC candidates, 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates):

• Preference will be given to Displaced Persons (DPs) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).
• Female candidates are eligible to apply in Electrical branch only.

Field Assistant Trainee

• Preference will be given to Displaced Persons (DPs) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).
• Only Male candidates are eligible to apply

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

SELECTION PROCEDURE:Written Test will be conducted on General Aptitude (including knowledge in English and Telugu) and Domain (Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy). Test papers will be set in bilingual in English and Telugu. Candidates shortlisted based on performance in written test will be called for Certificate Verification. Merit list will be prepared separately for each branch and candidates will be selected as per the vacancies in each branch.

1. Selection will be through Written Test and Certificate Verification.
2.  Candidates will have to appear for the written test at their own cost. Written test will be conducted at test centre(s) in Andhra Pradesh.
3. Likely date for Written Test is 9th July 2017 (Forenoon).
