The Anna University, Chennai has extended the last date of application for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test as 21 April. Earlier it was announced as 18th April. Due to the demand of students the TANCET registration date was extended by Anna University. Candidates seeking to apply for TANCET 2022 can apply soon at AU & TANCET joint website, tancet.annauniv.edu. The application window will be closing at 21 April 4PM. Hence students can hurry up to fill up the applications before the announced last date.
TANCET 2022 Application Date Extended Till 21 April
The Anna University, Chennai organizes the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test [Popularly known as TANCET] every year to offer admission into various postgraduate degrees for the students. Based on the rank scored in the TANCET, students will get admission into various courses such as MCA, MTech, March, MBA, ME, and MPlan etc. Students clearing the test with good merit will get admission into, colleges and regional campuses of Anna University, Annamalai University, government, government-aided and self-financing colleges in Tamil Nadu.
TANCET Exam Date 2022
TANCET examination is likely to conduct on 2nd May 2022. The examination will be conducted in the morning [10 am to 12 pm; and afternoon [2.30 pm to 4.30 pm] sessions.

- Visit the TANCET and Anna University official website– tancet.annauniv.edu.
- On the homepage, click on the “TANCET 2022 registration” link.
- Register with the portal with required login credentials.
- Fill the application form and upload the documents.
- Pay the registration fee and submit the application form.
- Save and download the registration form for future references.
TANCET 2022: Required Documents
- Photo –Image file in jpg format – Height -300px and Width -200px – File size should be less than 50 KB.
- Signature – Image file in jpg format – Height – 70px and Width -200px to -File size should be less than 11 KB.
- SC/ST community certificate in Pdf format for fee concession.

Check the “procedure for online Registration”, photo, and signature information carefully before applying.
Photo and Signature must be in the mentioned format. Otherwise, there is a chance of rejection of the application form. Selfies will not be considered.
Applicants can apply TANCET in any of the days including Saturday, Sunday, and Government holidays.
