JNTUH Implementation of the procedures followed by the University regarding the 4th Saturday as Holiday

It is informed that all are aware that the Affiliated Colleges are an integral part of the University. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor has kind enough to declared the 4th Saturday as a holiday, in addition to the 2nd Saturday, which was in practice. The Vice-Chancellor is felt that there should be no discrimination between the faculty of the University and that of the Affiliated Colleges.

In this context, the Vice-Chancellor has appealed to all Managements and Principals of Affiliated Colleges both Autonomous and Non-Autonomous to observe holidays on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, in line with the University’s decision for both the teaching and non-teaching staff.

Furthermore, it is advised that all concerned adhere to the orders of the University, in the interest of maintaining a healthy and harmonious academic atmosphere across the University and its Affiliated Colleges.
