A Common Entrance Test, designated as AP Education Common Entrance Test-2019 (AP Ed.CET-2019) will be conducted by the CONVENER, APEd.CET-2019, Sri venkateswara university on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission in to B.Ed (Two years) Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2019-2020.

AP Edcet 2019 was held peacefully across the state on 6th May. The test was conducted online by the Sri venkateswara university for the first time in Andhra Pradesh from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm in 27 test centres covering 16 cities.

AP Edcet 2019 convener said that of the total 14,019 candidates applied for the test, 11,650 candidates attended the test. This was the 2nd time that the number of applications received has not even touched one fifth of the total number of seats available in the state.

QUALIFYING MARKS:

The qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for all candidates (except SC/ST) are 37 out of total marks (i.e. 25%). For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, there will be no qualifying marks for ranking. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for women in Physical Sciences/Mathematics methodologies.
