AP Police SI Syllabus 2018

Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board is specially formed to recruit the eligible people for state-level police jobs. The organization annually announces various recruitment notifications to hire suitable candidates into various positions. This year the APSLPRB announced 334 SI posts. The vacancies include SI, SI AR, SI APSP, Deputy Jailors (men and women), and special station fire officer posts.  Many of the hopefuls are expected to apply for AP SI posts from 5th November to 24th November 2018. While the selection process will be made through various rounds. Candidates applied for the APSLPRB SI posts will have to clear the written test round (preliminary and Mains), Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Eligibility Test (PET), and interview rounds. APSLPRB Police SI Syllabus 2018

Aspirants applied for the AP Police SI posts must have the complete understanding about the SI examination pattern and syllabus. Candidates have to prepare well for the examination as the competition is going to be tough this time. The organization has announced that the written test round (preliminary examination) will be held on 16th December. Selection Procedure/Scheme: The Selection Procedure/Scheme of the Exam will be as follows:

a) Preliminary Written Test

b) Physical Measurements Test (PMT)

c) Phvsical Efficiencv Test (PET)

d) Final Written Examination

A) Preliminary Written Test (Post Code Nos. 11, 12,13,14,15 and 16): Candidates shall be required to appear for the Preliminary Written Test in two papers (each three hours duration) which will be qualifying, as given below. The syllabus for Preliminary written Test will be from paper III and IV of Annexure-II respectively.

NOTE:

1) The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test in both the papers is 40% for OCs; 35% for BCs; and 30% tor SCs/STs/Ex-servicemen. If a candidate fails to secure qualifying marks even in one paper, he will be disqualified. Total marks for these two Papers will not be counted for the purpose of qualification.

2) Questions in the Paper I and II will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages. Candidates have to answer the questions on an OMR answer sheet using Blue / Black Ball Point pen only. For this Purpose candidates should bring Blue / Black Ball Point pens along with them.

3) Marks obtained in Preliminary Written Test will have no relevance in the Final selection, which will be based on the marks obtained in Final Examination only.

Mains Examination:

Final Written Examination (For the Post Code Nos. 11. 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16): Candidates who qualify in the above shall be required to appear for the Final Written Examination in four papers (each of three hours duration) as given below. The syllabus is given in Annexure III.

Note:

i) The minimum marks to be secured by a candidates in order to qualify in the written examination in each paper is 40o/o lor @s; 35% for BCs; and 30% for SCs/STs and Ex. Servicemen.

ii) Papers I and II are only qualifying in nature. The cases of the candidates who do not secure the minimum qualifying marks in these papers i.e., papers I and II, will not be considered further in the selection process irrespective of their performance in papers III & IV. The marks secured in these papers i.e., papers I and II will not be taken into account for final selection.

iii) Papers I and II referred above will include questions that are subjective and objective in nature. They have to answer the questions using blue / black pen.

iv) Questions in Papers III and IV will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages. Candidates have to answer the questions on an OMR answer sheet using Blue / Black Ball Point Pen only. For this purpose candidates should bring Blue / Black Ball Point pens along with them.
