AP Sankranti Holidays 2018 from 12th January Instead of 11th January

AP Sankranthi Holidays 2018: Commissioner of School Education Andhra Pradesh government has declared that the AP Sankranthi holidays 2018 will be given from 12th January to 20th January Instead of 11th January. Earlier the CSE AP had announced that the Sankranthi holidays will be given from 11th January; while due to Janmabhumi maavooru Program, the holidays were moved to 1 day apart.

Sub: School Education – Sankranthi Holidays from 12.01.2018 to 20.01.2018 – Instead of from 11.01.2018 to 20.01.2018 – Instructions issued – Reg.

The Sankranthi Holidays shall be read as “from 12.01.2018 to 20.01.2018” instead of 11.01.2018 to 20.01.2018, due to JANMA BHOOMI MAAVOORU Programme (JBMV) conducting from 02.01.2018 to 11.01.2018.

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to issue necessary instructions to all the Dy.E.O.s, M.E.O.s and H.Ms in all Managements in their respective jurisdiction accordingly.

This has the approval of the Commissioner of School Education, A.P., Amaravati.
