Gujarat Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Cancelled: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has taken a decision by cancelling the class 12th board examinations. State Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama announced that Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) board examinations of class 12th will be cancelled for the academic year 2020 – 21.

Earlier the GSEB has scheduled the class 12th exams in July from 1 to 16. GSEB board scheduled the Class 12 general stream exams from July 1 till 16 in two shifts -10 am till 1.15 pm and 2.30 till 5.45 pm. Also, the vocational exams are scheduled from July 5 till 14 2.30 till 5.45 pm. While due to the massive COVID outbreak, the state government has decided to cancel the class 12th exams.
Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama had earlier said that 1.40 lakh students of science stream and 5.43 lakh of the general stream (arts and commerce) are going to appear for the Higher Secondary examinations in the state of Gujarat.
