JNTUK Mandatory Implementation of Bio-Metric attendance – Reg

Ref: Lr.No.APSCHE/Secy/Bio-metric Attendance/2017, dated 16.10.2017 of the Secretary, APSCHE, Amaravati.

In the reference cited, the APSCHE has informed to make the implementation of Biometric attendance system mandatory in the Constituent/Affiliated Colleges /Units of the University. It is also informed that the staff and students should register in Vidyawaan Website and attendance should be through e-attendance only w.e.f. 01.12.2017. The APSCHE has also constituted Committees to monitor the implementation of Aadhar based Bio-metric attendance in the Universities and Affiliated colleges, details of which are herewith annexed.

In the said letter, APSCHE further mentioned to approve the extension of affiliations and ratification of UG/PG admissions of students in the affiliated colleges, only after implementation of the Bio-metric attendance, in such Colleges.

In this connection, I am by direction, request you to see that ‘Bio-metric Attendance’ system is implemented in all the Colleges/Units of JNTUK without fail. They may contact the following Committee Member in case of assistance/ clarification on the above Subject.

  1. This is not good for final year students,because we have a project ,to move away from colleges,how it can be possible ,lot of students comes from another states they dont have aadhar,how you are implemented according aadhar based

  2. Sir, we from other state haven’t registered for aadhar.. Making it mandatory is not a good move as we already know that even supreme court hasn’t decided it.. So please think before taking any action
