Pre-Ph.D Regular Examinations Notification – 2025

NOTIFICATION for Pre-Ph.D Examinations – 2025 (For 2022-23 and 2023-24 admitted scholars)

All the candidates who have registered for Ph.D. Programme with JNTUK in AY 2022-23 and 2023-24 are hereby informed that Pre-Ph.D. Regular Examinations will be held in the month of January/February-2026. The Pre-Ph.D. examination will be conducted for

Paper-1: Research Methodology

Paper-II: Advanced Subject Paper/Recent Advances in the Subject of branch concerned

Paper-III: Research Area of branch concerned

The candidates may register through online @ https://online.jntuksdc.co.in/phd/ from 24-11-2025. The examination fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) per subject shall be paid as per the time schedule given below:

Exam Fee:

• Without late fee : 15-12-2025
• With late fee of Rs. 500/- (Per Subject) : 22-12-2025
• With late fee of Rs. 1000/- (Per Subject) : 30-12-2025

NOTIFICATION for Pre-Ph.D Examinations – 2025 (Prior to 2022-23 admitted scholars)

ll the eligible scholars* who have registered for Ph.D Programme with JNTUK prior to AY
2022-23 are hereby informed that Pre-Ph.D. Supplementary examinations will be held in the month of January/February – 2026. The Pre-Ph.D. examination will be conducted for

• Paper-1: Research Methodology
• Paper-II: Advanced Subject Paper/Recent Advances in the Subject of branch concerned
• Paper-III: Research Area of branch concerned

The candidates may register through online @ https://online.jntuksdc.co.in/phd/ from 24-11-2025. The examination fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) per subject shall be paid as per the time schedule given below.

Exam Fee:

• Without late fee : 15-12-2025
• With late fee of Rs. 500/- (Per Subject) : 22-12-2025
• With late fee of Rs. 1000/- (Per Subject) : 30-12-2025

The candidates are informed to submit Syllabus Copies of registered subjects duly signed by the Supervisor/Co-Supervisor along with the acknowledgment copy to the Director of Evaluation, Univesity Examination Center, JNTUK Kakinada through Director, R&D, JNTUK, Kakinada:

Note:

1. For Paper-I: Research Methodology, the candidates who have failed/absent in the previous examination can only apply.

2. Registrations after the due date will not be entertained.

3. The examination fee once paid will not be refunded.

4. * Applications of candidates will be summarily rejected if the prescribed period for completion of their programme (or) number of attempts is exhausted (i.e. three attempts for candidates admitted prior to the 2019 and four attempts for candidates admitted from 2019 onwords)
