PUBLICATION OF KCET 2022 MERIT LISTS:

After the completion of the entrance test, the Provisional ANSWER KEY will be published on the date notified by KEA on the KEA Website: http://kea.kar.nic.in The candidates / parents / lecturers can file their objections, if any, addressed to the “Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore” on or before prescribed date either in person or only through SPEED POST / email: keauthority-ka@nic.in, with regard to any of the published answer Key, along with all supporting documents / justification. The objections received by the KEA will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final for determination of the right answer key. The answer key approved by the Expert Committee will be applied during evaluation for determination of merit order.

As per the merit determined by the KEA, Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science, B-Pharm and Pharm-D ranks will be assigned to the eligible candidates. Separate result sheets showing the Engineering, Architecture, Farm science, B-Pharm and Pharm-D ranks will be published on the notified date on KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in. The correct answer key and the list of candidates whose results have been withheld and the reasons for withholding the results will also be published along with the results. The candidates whose results are with-held for want of 2nd PUC / 12th std. Marks and date of birth such candidates / parents need not worry because, ranks will be assigned as and when they submit the required documents on the specified dates during office hours.

The Qualified and eligible Candidates of APEAMCET-2022 participated in first & second phases Counseling are informed to exercise their options afresh using their old password, Login ID for the leftover seats now available and consequential vacancies that may arise in the process of allotment & additional seats available in new colleges/courses, if any, from any Help Line Centre or Internet facility (Café/Home) as per the schedule given below. The Candidates not attended for Certificate verification during first phase or second phase are directed to get their certificates verified in this final phase from any Help Line Center and exercise their options as per the schedule given below.

Payment of Processing fee:

All the candidates who have not paid processing fee so far can pay from — using URL https://apeamcet.nic.in

The processing fee of an amount of Rs.1200/- for OC/BC and Rs. 600/- for SC/ST through online by credit card/ debit card/ (or) net banking through the “Pay processing fee” link in the web site https://apeamcet.nic.in.

The Processing fee can be paid online by the candidate using credit card or debit card or through net banking as detailed below:

1. Visit https://apecet.nic.in and click on “Pay processing Fee”.

2. Enter APEAMCET Hall Ticket number and rank and click on pay fee online.

3. The candidate will be directed to payment gateway.

4. Select any one mode of payment i.e credit card or debit card or net banking and enter credentials.

SCHEDULE FOR VERIFICATION OF CERTIFICATES OF REGULAR CANDIDATES AND OPTION ENTRY

Allotment: Allotment will be placed on website on — after 6.00 P.M

Instructions on exercising the options in the first phase counseling:

1) The following category of candidates can exercise options in the first phase counseling. The Candidates

a) Who has secured seat but not shown interest to join in the allotted seat.

b) Who have not secured seats so far, but got their certificates verified.

c) Who have not exercised the options so far, but got their certificates verified.

d) Who have secured seats, reported and aspiring for a better option.

e) Who have reported/Not reported but cancelled their allotment.

f) Who have attended for certificate verification as per the above schedule.

2) Options given in the 1st/2nd Phase will not be considered for this final Phase of counseling for allotment of a seat and candidates have to exercise options.

3) Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment need not exercise option once again. They shall note that if they exercise options now and a seat is allotted as per the options, the vacated seat will be allotted to next meritorious candidate and hence they will have no claim on the previous allotment.

4) It is advised to exercise options for interested colleges/courses assuming that vacancies would arise in all colleges in the process of sliding.

Verification of Certificates:

i. On payment of processing fee, Registration number and Login Id Number will be provided through SMS for the Mobile number furnished at the time of filing the application or modified mobile number to all such candidates whose certificate data is already verified through web services. For candidates whose certificate data is incomplete an SMS is sent to attend for verification of certificates at HLC.

ii. On confirmation of the displayed data, candidate can create password.

iii. Login id, Hall Ticket number, date of birth and password already created can be used to enter the options from Internet facility available at Home/Internet Café/Helpline Center.

iv. In respect of candidates whose data is incomplete/ not verified the registration tab will not be opened and a message saying your certificates not verified please contact nearest Help Line Centers for certificate verification such candidates have to visit nearest help line centre and get the certificates verified and proceed for option entry.

v. Candidates are informed that the verification of certificates viz SSC memo, Intermediate marks memo, VI class to Intermediate study certificates, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate/Ration Card, Economically Weaker section(EWS) certificate, Physically Challenged Certificate, Residence Certificate have to be verified by the counseling authorities.

vi. However, candidates are requested to note that these certificates were already verified through web services from the respective board/agencies based on the information furnished by the candidate while applying for APEAMCET 2022 i.e., Common Entrance Test.

vii. However, in some cases the verification may be incomplete. Hence the candidates are requested to note the following.

10) Integrated Community Certificate, in case of BC/ST/SC issued by the competent authority.

11) Income certificate of parents from all sources issued on or after 01.01.2019 or White Ration card (candidate name and either of the parents name have to be reflected in the ration card) those who claim tuition fee reimbursement

ALLOTMENT OF SEATS: PRELIMINARY ROUND

  • The provisional allotment of seats will be made to Case I candidates.
  • In the left over vacancies, Case II candidates will be considered for provisional allotment of seats.

  • Pay the Tuition Fee mentioned in the Provisional allotment order through online (Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card) within the prescribed time and Self Report through Website to confirm the provisionally allotted seat.
  • Candidates/Parents are advised to make tuition fee payment from their own Bank Accounts. In case of refunds, if any, the amount will be remitted back through online in to the same Bank Account from which the payment was made.
  • In candidate’s login, the candidate after Self Report through online system, the Admission Number will be generated. Take the printout and report at the allotted college on and handover the relevant certificates.
  • If the candidate does not pay the prescribed Tuition Fee within the schedule mentioned, the provisional allotted seat automatically stands cancelled and he / she shall not have any claim on the provisionally allotted seat.

NOTE: Guidelines for conducting I Year B.Tech Course Work as per R20 Academic Regulations (Applicable for Non-Autonomous Constituent & Affiliated Colleges)

1. Programs offered by the University: The following programs are offered at present as specializations for the B. Tech. Course for non-autonomous, constituent& affiliated colleges

2. Programme Pattern:

a) Total duration of the of B. Tech (Regular) Programme is four academic years

b) Each Academic year of study is divided into Two Semesters.

c) The total credits for the Programme is 160.

d) The minimum instruction days including exams for each semester shall be 90 days.

e) The medium of instruction for the entire under graduate programme will be in English only

3. About Program related terms:

a) Credit: A unit by which the course work is measured. It determines the number of hours of instructions required per week. One credit is equivalent to one hour of teaching (Lecture/Tutorial) or two hours of practical work/field work per week.

b) Academic Year: Two consecutive (one odd + one even) semesters constitute one academic year.
