Subject: Guidelines to conduct B.Tech/B.Pharm 4-1 Regular/Supply leftover subjects and 3-1 Regular substitute subjects and 4-2 Regular/Supply, 1-1 Regular /Supply University Exams July-2021 examinations commencing from 01-07-2021-Reg.

The Principals of the colleges are informed to note the following guidelines necessitated due to COVID-19 pandemic, with regard to conduct of B.Tech/B.Pharm 4-1 Regular/Supply leftover subjects and 3-1 Regular substitute subjects and 4-2 Regular/Supply, 1-1 Regular /Supply University Exams July-2021 examinations at your respective colleges.

1) All the students and staff members must wear masks while they are on the campus.

2) Sanitizers are to be provided at the entrance of the campus/building and the security on duty must ensure that every staff member / student clean their hands with the liquid sanitizers. The security should allow those, who only wear masks.

3) Social distancing should be maintained at every place viz. inside the classrooms, laboratories, examination halls and places of common amenities like canteen etc.

4) Thermal scanning has to be carried out at the place of entry into the campus to all students and the staff.

5) Appropriate measures need to be taken to maintain sufficient distancing while operating the college buses.

6) All the class rooms where the classes and examinations are conducted, the laboratories and college buses are to be sanitized on regular basis.

7) If any student falls sick, he/she should be kept in isolated place; proper care and appropriate first aid treatment must be rendered.

8) It is advisable to maintain the same seating plans and seating places for the students who appear for all regular examinations (However this provision may not be feasible to supplementary examinations).

9) The examination hall seating arrangements should be such that, only one person per bench is to be allocated and in successive benches the seating may be arranged in zig-zag manner, so that the students sitting on successive benches do not sit in one single row.

10) All the end-semester examinations shall be conducted for duration of three hours. The pattern of examination shall be “Five out of eight question pattern”. There shall be no compulsory section with short answer questions.

In the reference cited above, the B Tech/B Pham IV-I Reg/Supply. B.Tech III-I (R18) Regular Substitute Subjects University Exams which were scheduled on 25-03-2021 and 27-03-2021 have been rescheduled to 01-07-2021 and 03-07-2021 respectively in offline mode.

In view of COVID-19 Pandemic situation to reduce the number of students per session. it is further revised as mentioned below.

The same examination centres, Hall tickets and pro printed answer booklets at the time of B.Tech. / B.Pharm. 4-1, 3-1 & 2-1 March-2021 examinations will be continued and shall be used for the above rescheduled examinations.

This is for your information Further you ate requested to inform the same to the students and make necessary arrangements for accommodating the changes in the above examination schedule.

The IV B.Tech/B.Pharmacy II Sem Regular/Supplementary external examinations are scheduled to be held from 19th July 2021. As per the University direction and in view of COVID-19, the examinations will be held in respective colleges (Self-examination centres). The students, who are far away the respective colleges, may choose the nearest examination centres to write their examinations.

Hence, the Principals of affiliated colleges are requested to take the options from the students and upload the same in the link provided in the Examination Portal before 11:00AM on 03-07- 2021. The link will be enabled on 01-07-2021. The Principals of parent colleges are requested to coordinate with other host college Principals for the conduct of Mid examinations also in the centres opted by these students. The question papers shall be sent by the parent colleges and the valuation, marks uploading shall also be done by the parent college.

The Principals are also requested to handover the end examination OMR answer booklets and additional expenditure for the conduct of examinations to the students opted for other centres to the Principals of host colleges well before the commencement of exams.
