The Principals of the affiliated colleges of JNTUK are informed that several complaints are received from the students stating that some of the colleges are demanding the students eligible to receive reimbursement under ‘Jagananna Vidya (JVD) eligible students’ also to pay tuition fee.

The Principals/Managements of the affiliated colleges of JNTUK are hereby informed that as per Government orders, the tuition fee will be reimbursed to the concerned Mothers’ account in four quarters w.e.f the Academic Year 2020-21. In turn, they will pay the tuition to the Colleges as and when the amount is released by the Government.

In this connection, I am by direction inform that the Principals of the affiliated colleges Of JNTUK are instructed not to insist / demand the JVD eligible students to pay tuition until they receive the tuition fee reimbursement from Government.

The Principals of the affiliated colleges are further infomed that University will take stern action on the Colleges, including withdrawing of affiliation, for not complying with Government / University orders.
