Kerala Diploma/Polytechnic Result Nov 2019 (Revision 10 & Revision 15)

It is hereby notified that the Diploma Examination in Engineering/ Technology/ Management/ Commercial Practice (Revision 2010 & 2015 Scheme) will be conducted during the month of APRIL 2019. All the Polytechnic Colleges in the State of Kerala (Government/ Aided/ Self financing) are the examination centers for Revision 2010 & 2015 Scheme. Time table will be published in the website www.tekerala.org. The Principals of Polytechnic colleges will be the Chief Superintendents for the conduct of the Examination in the respective centers. This will be the last chance for the candidates of 2011 admission under Revision (10) scheme.

JEE Main Exam 8th January 2020 Postponed or Not? The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 will be held from January 6 to 9, 2020, and the Paper-II will be held on April 3 to 9, 2020.

The Central Trade Unions, All India Congress Trade Union Cong (IATUC), Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), Central Industrial Trade Union (CITU) and Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS), and various other organizations have decided to perform the strike on 8th January Nationwide. Around 25 lakh people will be participating in the Bharat Bandh on 8th January. The unions are going to perform the strike to demand rights and facilities of workers, against the privatization of public sector units, among other things.

Live Updates – The Central Trade Unions have declared the Bharat Bandh on 8th January 2020. Due to this reason, the prescheduled examinations are likely to be postponed. On 8th January, 3 major examinations were scheduled to be held. JEE Main 2020, UPTET 2020, and ICAR ASRB NET 2020 exams were scheduled to be held on 8^th January 2020. While the ICAR announced that the ASRB NET examination will be held on 11^th January. Yet, there no confirmed news about the other 2 examinations. The NTA has to announce whether the JEE Main 2020 will be conducted on the same date or not. No update about JEE Main 2020 Exam on 8th January

Currently, NTA has not issued any clarification or notification about changes in the JEE Main 2020 schedule. JEE Main 2020 engineering entrance exam is currently going on for the January session. With Bharat Bandh scheduled for tomorrow, NTA is yet to issue any clarification about postponement or cancellation of JEE Main Exam for tomorrow.

Recently, the NTA released the admit cards for JEE Main January examination 2020 on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Aspirants applied for JEE Main 2020 have downloaded the admit cards as giving the exam as per the scheduled dates. While the Nationwide strike has created doubt about the IIT JEE Main exam schedule. If the NTA has not announced anything about the postponement, the exam will be held in the announced slots. The Principals of all the affiliated colleges are hereby informed that the following I B.Tech. I Sem., & IMBA VIII Sem. Regular/Supplementary Examinations already scheduled on 08.01.2020 have been postponed due to All India Bundh. The examinations are rescheduled to the following dates as given below.

With reference to the subject cited above, C-18 II & IV Semester Mid Sem-II Examination is scheduled from 10-02-2020 to 13-02-2020 as per Academic Calender.

In this regard, all the Principals of all Polytechnics are requested to conduct the Mid Sem-II, for C-18 II & IV Semesters having CC Cameras in operation integration with SBTET Central facility.

In this connection, it is informed to provide the IP sharing i.e., user ID to view the footage live at the 0/o Secretary, SBTET, Hyderabad. The details shall be sent to the mail id itsecy- sbtet@telangana.gov.in. In this context the Institutions which have not yet installed the CC Cameras/Surveillance system informed to install them in all exam halls, control room and keep ready for recording.

Hence, you are informed to arrange for completion of Syllabus as per schedule and take up all the steps to receive the Question papers through EDEP Portal.
The practical examination shall be conducted after Mid Sem Theory Examinations, in the regular time slot for such labs as per the Academic calendar.
The copy of the Time Table may be placed on the Notice Board for the benefit of the students. The above Time-Tables are also placed in the SBTET Website i,e. www.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.
Hence it is informed that in case of any discrepancies, the same shall be informed to the Board immediately through mail to dyseyc2-sbtet@telangana.gov.in.

Bharat Bandh On 8th January 2020: Around 25 crore people will take part in the all India strike on January 8, 2020, called by 10 central trade unions. The call for ‘Bharat Bandh’ in January 2020 has been given to press for 14 demands.

In a related development, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has would not stretch out help to the strike, which is planned for tomorrow. However, Tamil Nadu’s Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) have chosen to back the strike on January 8. Due to this some colleges/Universities have been postponed the exams scheduled on 8th January 2020.

“The Central Trade Unions conveyed their firm resolve after the meeting called by Union Labour Minister (on Thursday). The general strike on January 8, 2020 stands,” a joint statement issued by the 10 central trade unions said.

As indicated by DMK president MK Stalin, “the BJP-led government at the Centre is focussed on snatching the workers’ rights instead of protecting them”.

The Shiv Sena will also join the proposed all-India strike on January 8. Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said: “Many of you are astonished to see me here, but this is in solidarity with the cause of the workers of this country. In the past five years, the government has initiated many anti-labour policies which we strongly oppose.”

Many of the Central Trade Unions are going to participating in Bharat Bandh on 8^th January 2020. The participants include All India United Trade Union Centre (AIUTUC), Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS), All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Labour Progressive Federation (LPF), Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA), All India Central Council of Trade Unions (AICCTU), United Trade Union Congress (UTUC), Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) and Trade Union Coordination Centre (TUCC).

Bank strike on 8th January 2020

Bank employees also going to participate in the Bharat Bandh on 8^th January 2020. In 5 banks participating in the strike, the online transactions will not be effected.

Significant associations in the Indian banking have chosen to participate in the National General Strike called by central trade unions on January 8, 2020, said a top leader of All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA).

In an announcement, the All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) general secretary CH Venkatachalam had last month said that workers of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), co-usable Banks, Regional Rural Banks (RRB), and Life Insurance Corporation of India and General Insurance sector will likewise join the strike.
