ePass Karnataka Vidyasiri Scholarship 2019- Information

Full Course Fee concession for PMS FAAS, FC, and NUR

Under this scheme, eligible students will get the full course fee. Approximately, 20000 students will get benefit from this scheme.

Free Hostel Accommodation/Fee for Post-Matric Courses

For post-matric students (after class 10^th), the scheme provides free hostel accommodation and course fees for minority students of SC/ST/ Backward classes.

Prathibha Puraskar Scholarship for SSLC/Secondary PUC-

This scholarship is provided to the meritorious students scoring 90% or above marks in SSLC/ Secondary PUC exams.

Eligibility Requirements for Full Course Fee concession for PMS FAAS, FC, and NUR

• Students should be registered with any of the post-matric courses at schools/ institutions recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
• Strictly, an applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka state.
• Students should have a 75% attendance.
• The income of parents of students belonging to the Backward Classes/ PWD category should be equal or less than 1 lakh per year.
• The income of parents of students belonging to the SC/ST category should be up to 2 lakhs per annum.

Eligibility Requirements for Pratibha Pushkar Scholarship

• Strictly, an applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka state.
• Students must be enrolled in any Government or private school of the state.
• Applicants must have secured 90% or above in the SSLC/ Secondary PUC exam conducted in March/April.
• This scholarship is offered once to a student for equivalent courses.
• The annual income limit of the parent of students belonging to category 1 should be upto1 lakhs and up to 2.50 lakhs per year for categories 2A, 3A, and 3B.

Eligibility Requirements for Free Hostel Accommodation 

• Strictly, an applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka state.
• Students should belong to Category I/ 2A, 2B/ 3A/ 3B, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe or Backward Class.
• The income of parents of these students should be up to 2.50 lakhs per annum.
• The distance of the school of the students should be a house at least 5 kilometers from their house.

ePass Karnataka Vidyasiri Application Process

As of now, the application process has been closed for 3 types of scholarships. Aspirants who are going to apply Karnataka ePass scholarship can check the detailed application process mentioned here to apply for the Vidyasiri scholarship.

• Initially, Visit the official KarePASS portal i.e. karepass.cgg.gov.in.
• On the homepage, click on the respective application links given under the title “Student Zone”.
• Fill all the details carefully in the application form.
• Upload the required documents in the space provided.
• Go through all the details before the final submission.
• Click on the ‘Submit’ button to send the Application.
• Take the printout of the filled application form.
• After submitting the online application, send the application form along with the attested copies of each document to the concerned district Taluk Office before the due date.

ePass Karnataka Vidyasiri Scholarship Documents Required

Applicants need to attach the following documents along with the application form. All the copies of documents are mandatory to apply for the Vidyasiri scholarship.

• Senior Secondary Leaving Certificate (SSLC)
• Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority (for SC/ST/BC/ PWD category candidates)
• Transfer Certificate (TC) issued by the school or college
• Bank Pass Book for student’s bank account details
• Residential Certificate/ Domicile certificate
• Income Certificate issued by Tahsilar or Sub-Tahsildar

How to know ePass Karnataka Vidyasiri Application Status?

After the successful application, students can check their application status by visiting the Karnataka ePAss portal. Check the following process to check the Karnataka ePass scholarship status.

• Visit Karnataka ePASS portal – karepass.cgg.gov.in.
• Click on the “Student Services” option.
• Select “Application Status” from the dropdown list.
• The login page will appear. Enter application no., academic year, SSLC Pass year and other details. Click on the “Get Status” link.
• Application Status will appear on the screen.

While checking the status, applicants must have valid details such as application no. (issued at the time of application), SSLC Pass type, year, etc.

How to Know your Application Number?

• Visit the official portal i.e. karepass.cgg.gov.in.
• Click on the “Student Services” tab.
• Click on “Now your application number” link.
• Enter all the required information in respective fields.
• Candidates will be given two options- Scholarship details and hostel details. For scholarship details they have to click on “Get Scholarship Details” and for the hostel, they have to click on “Get Hostel Details”.
• Finally, application no. and respective details will appear.

How to know Hostel Application Status?        

• Visit the Karnataka ePass official portal, karepass.cgg.gov.in.
• Click on the “Student Services” tab given on the homepage.
• Click on the “Hostel Application Status” tab.
• Enter Application no. and date of birth. Hit the “Get Status” link.
• Finally, the hostel application status will appear and candidates can check it.

How to Download Pratibha Acknowledge?   

• Visit the ePASS Karnataka portal.
• Click on the Student Services portal and select the “Pratibha Acknowledgement” link from the list.
• Fill application reference no. or other details are given at the time of application. Click on the “Download Acknowledgment” button.
• Pratibha Acknowledgment will open; download it.
