OPSC ASO Result 2019: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) conducted the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) selection test on 20th January 2019. OPSC organized the ASO written test in many places across the state. As per reports, 2 lakh competitors have competed for the ASO posts in Odisha. Announced posts are 500 and the competition is quite higher this year. Approximately, 40 persons competed for 1 post. Selection of candidates will be done through merit. Integrated M.Tech (CSE & ECE)

IIIT Bangalore introduced Integrated M.Tech. programme in 2012. Integrated M.Tech. (iMTech) Programme is a five-year full time programme (10 semesters) intended for students who have passed or are appearing for Senior Secondary (Plus Two) examination with Mathematics or equivalent subject. As per the approval obtained from AICTE, at the end of five years of the integrated/dual degree programme, successful students get M.Tech. and B.Tech. degree. There is NO exit option available for students to graduate with a B.Tech. degree alone. From the academic year 2015-16 onwards, separate admissions are being done in two branches: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).

The Institute offers two research programmes for students that lay emphasis on carrying out quality research in the chosen field of study.

The Master of Science degree is intended for mature students who wish to learn and perform research in a supportive academic environment. It is awarded upon successful completion of a graduate-level research programme, usually lasting four semesters. Beyond the satisfaction of a relatively small number of coursework requirements, the major focus of the program is on developing research skills, leading to the completion of a Master’s thesis describing significant original results. Most M.S. by Research students are working professionals (some already working as research scientists in reputed organizations or government bodies), who are sponsored by their employers.

The Doctor of Philosophy is the terminal, research-oriented degree in the subject, intended to prepare students for research, teaching, and scholarly careers in academic settings or research laboratories. It connotes a superior comprehension of the field and a high aptitude for research, and is awarded upon completion of a program that takes from 3 to 5 years (there are no hard limits). Beyond the satisfaction of a relatively small number of coursework requirements, the major focus is on carrying out a significant body of original research and the writing and defense of a doctoral dissertation describing this work.

To compensate the above said four public holidays, the University exams shall be conducted on three Sundays dated 12-05-2019, 19-05-2019 and 26-05-2019 to ensure that the examinations schedule is not extended beyond a stipulated date.

ELIGIBILITY & FEE STRUCTURE

CONDITIONS of ELIGIBILITY:

a. Only those candidates who have completed or are pursuing the final year of PG degree in related subjects are eligible to appear TS-SET. Others need not apply.

b. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for SET. The Backward Classes (BC) / Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Physically Challenged (PH/VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible to appear the SET.

c. Candidates who have appeared (OR) will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s Degree examination and whose result is still awaited (or) candidates whose examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of Lectureship eligibility only after they have passed their Master’s Degree examination (or) equivalent with atleast 55% marks (50% in case of BC/SC/ST/PH/VH candidates). Such candidates must obtain their P.G degree mark sheet within one year from the date of SET with the required percentage of marks, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.

d. Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed on or before 19th September 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50% to appear in the SET Examination.

e. Candidates have to appear for SET in the subject of their Post-Graduation only. In case the subject of a candidate is not included in the list of SET subjects, the candidate may appear in UGC-NET / UGC-CSIR NET which is held twice a year.

f. The candidates who qualify in the test are eligible to apply for the post of Asst. Professors / Lecturers in various universities and degree colleges of higher education in Telangana. They will be given eligibility-certificate and the validity period of certificate is forever.

g. Candidates other than general category are required to mention of their social status (BC/SC/ST/VH) in the online application form. The candidates in their own interest must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the test. In case their ineligibility is detected by the Agency at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.

h. Candidates may note that the verification of eligibility conditions with reference to the documents (PG qualification certificates, caste certificates and certificates related to PH/VH) as may be called for will be taken up only after the candidate has qualified in the test. If in the event of the candidate being found ineligible at any stage for the award due to any reason, the award may be withdrawn by SET agency.

i. Candidates should note that their candidature is provisional. The mere fact that an admission card has been issued to a candidate will not imply that the university has finally accepted his/her candidature. Candidates may note that their candidature will be deemed final upon verification of eligibility conditions.

j. The candidates will not be given any mark sheet from the SET office whether they have qualified or not qualified. No revaluations of papers are allowed for SET Examination. The SET agency will issue certificates to the qualified candidates only after careful verification of the concerned certificates of the candidate.

k. The same photograph of the candidate which is printed on the hall ticket will also be printed on the certificate to be issued by the Office of the TS-SET.

There is No Upper age limit to apply for TS-SET examination.

A candidate can avail any number of chances.

Exemption (Eligibility for Lectureship)

a. TS-SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in universities/ colleges/institutions. However, the candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in universities/ colleges/ institutions.

b. For SET Candidates: The candidates who have cleared the State Eligibility Test (SET) accredited by UGC for eligibility for Lectureship held prior to 1st June 2002, are exempted from appearing in NET, being eligible to apply for Lectureship anywhere in India. For SET held from 1st June 2002 onwards, the qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Lecturer only in the universities/ colleges belonging to the state from where they have cleared their TS-SET.

How to Download AP PGECET Hall tickets 2019 online?

1. Go to AP PGECET 2019 official web site: http://sche.ap.gov.in/PGECET

2. Click on the “Download Hall ticket” Link

3. Enter Registration Number and Select the Test that you’ve choose in the application.

4. Your hall ticket will be appear on the computer screen and download

5. Take print out by using Print button.

6. Done.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE

1. Candidate will not be admitted into the Examination Hall once the test commences and will not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall till the END of the Examination

2. Hall ticket shall be produced at the Entrance of the Test centre and also in the Examination Hall, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to write the test.

3. Candidates should ensure that they answer correct question booklets corresponding to their test papers.

4. Use/Black/Blue Ball Point Pen to darken the circles. Pens with any other colors are prohibited. Do not use Pencil or Ink/Gel pen.

5. OMR Answer Sheet will not be valued if the candidate writes any irrelevant matter, symbols, religious marks, prayers or identification marks on any part of OMR Answer Sheet as it amounts to malpractice. Rough work should NOT be done on OMR answer sheet.

6. Carrying of Calculators, Mathematical/Log Tables, Pagers, Cell Phones, any other electronic gadgets and loose sheets of paper into the examination hall is strictly prohibited.

7. Adoption of any kind of unfair means and any act of impersonation at the time of test will render the applicant liable for invalidation of his/her OMR answer sheet. Further he/she will for feitthe claim of appearing for the test and will make him/her liable for criminalaction.

8. Issue of Hall Ticket and appearance at the test does not automatically entitle the candidate for admission.

9. Hall Ticket must be preserved till the time of admission into the College.

10. The candidate should sign in the space provided on the OMR Sheet and also sign on the Hall Ticket in the presence of Invigilator as signed in the application Form.

11. The candidate should return the OMR Answer sheet before leaving the Examination Hall. Failure to do so will make him/her liable for criminal action.

12. Verify your details printed in Hall Ticket such as date of birth, category etc and make corrections if any in the nominal roll before signing.
