JNTUA Revised Promotion Rules For B.Tech R15 – Promotion From 2nd Year to 3rd Year

Number of Examinations to be considered for calculation of credits for promotion from II Year to III Year B.Tech courses:

I am by direction inform that, the Vice-Chancellor has approved the following for promotion from II Year to III Year B.Tech in place of guidelines presented in section 7.2 of R15 academic regulations.

A student shall be promoted from II to III year only if he/she fulfils the academic requirement of securing 40% of the credits (25 credits) in the subjects that have been studied up to II year I semester from the following examinations, irrespective of whether the candidate takes the end examination or not as per the normal course of study.

  • One regular and two supplementary examinations of I Year I Semester.
  • One regular and one supplementary examinations of I Year II Semester.
  • One regular examination of II Year I semester

Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPB) is responsible to conduct the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) examination annually. This examination is particularly conducted for the aspirants wishing to become primary/secondary school teachers in the state of Kerala. The application process for KTET was held from 19th May to 30th May. Lakhs of hopefuls have applied for KTET examination this year. TSNPDCL Assistant Engineer (Electrical & Civil) Exam Hall Tickets 2018 Download: Telangana State Northern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSNPDCL) has recently issued the notification for 68 Assistant Engineer (AE) Civil and Electrical Notification to hire 68 candidates for vacant positions. Many of the interested aspirants having the suitable eligibility to apply for AE Posts have applied from 13th June to 27th June. Applicants enrolled during the given schedule will have to appear for the written test on 15th July as part of the selection process. To appear for the TSNPDCL Assistant Engineer examination, applicants must initially download TSNPDCL AE Civil/Electrical Hall ticket 2018. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

ii.For the Post Code No. 17: Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. iii. B. Minimum Educational Qualification:

The Candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2018, a Degree awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State or of any Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification. In the case of a Candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2018, he / she must have passed Intermediate or any other examination recognized by the Telangana State Government as being equivalent to Intermediate and should have studied 3 years Degree course.

Note:- Candidates who possess higher qualification than the prescribed one will also be considered on par with the Candidates who possess the prescribed qualification.

Fee: Candidates with local candidature of Telangana belonging to OCs and BCs applying for the Posts of SI Civil or equivalent viz., SCT SI (Civil / AR / SAR CPL / TSSP), SFO in TS Disaster Response & Fire Services Department and Deputy Jailor / Assistant Matron in Prisons & Correctional Services Department have to pay a fee of Rs.1,000/- towards Registration of the Application, Processing of Application, Conduct of Tests and Examinations, Maintenance of Portal etc., Local Candidates of Telangana belonging to SCs and STs have to however, pay only Rs.500/- towards the same. All other Candidates will have to pay Rs.1,000/-. Fee may be paid at TS Online / AP Online / MeeSeva (e-Seva) Centres / through Payment Gateway (Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking).

Eligibility Conditions

1. Age Limit (General)

TSLPRB Raising of Upper Age Limit by 3 Years to various Posts in Police Department

i. For the Post Code Nos. 21 to 25:

a) Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2 nd July, 1996 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

b) For Home Guards, a Person who, as on the date of Notification, has been on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a period of 2 (two) years and who is still continuing his service as Home Guard, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1978 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

ii) For the Post Code Nos. 26, 27 & 28 : Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

iii) For the Post Code Nos. 21, 22 & 28 (For Women Candidates): In the case of a Widow, a Divorced Woman or a Woman judicially separated from her husband and who is not remarried,

a) Candidate if she is an SC or ST, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1978 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

b) In all other cases other than SC & ST, the Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1983 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

Note: A Candidate claiming age relaxation by virtue of being either a Widow or a Divorcee or a Woman judicially separated should produce the following documentary evidence.

(i) In case of Widow, Death Certificate of her husband together with the Affidavit that she has not re-married since.

(ii) In case of Divorced Women and Women judicially separated from their husbands, a certified copy of the Judgment / Decree of the appropriate court to prove the fact of divorce or the judicial separation, as the case may be, along with an Affidavit that she has not re-married since.

The Upper Age Limit will be relaxable as described in the Supplementary Notification.

B. Minimum Educational Qualification:

Candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2018, a pass Certificate in Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. In the case of a Candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2018, he / she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examination in, both the 1st year and 2nd year.

Note:- Candidates who possess higher qualification than the prescribed one will also be considered on par with the Candidates who possess the prescribed qualification.

Fee: Candidates with local status of Telangana belonging to OCs and BCs applying for the Posts of SCT PC (Civil / AR / SAR CPL / TSSP), Constables in SPF, Firemen in TS Disaster Response & Fire Services Department and Warders (Male) / Warders (Female) in Prisons & Correctional Services Department have to pay a fee of Rs.800/- towards Registration of the Application, Processing of Application, Conduct of Tests and Examinations, Maintenance of Portal etc., Local Candidates of Telangana belonging to SCs and STs have to however, pay only Rs.400/- towards the same. All other Candidates will have to pay Rs.800/-. Fee may be paid at TS Online / AP Online / MeeSeva (e-Seva) Centres / through Payment Gateway (Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking).

The eligible and qualified candidates of TSECET-2018 (Diploma holders of all branches including Pharmacy & B.sc. Mathematics Degree Holders) desirous of seeking admission into B.E /B.Tech / Pharmacy Courses (Lateral Entry into second year) in University and Private Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges and who have not attended for Certificate Verification earlier shall get their Certificates verified from designated Help Line Centers mentioned in Annexure I. Who can exercise options?

  • Candidates who have secured seat but not interested to join.
  • Who have not secured seat so far but got their certificates verified.
  • Who have not exercised the options so far but got their certificates verified.
  • Who have secured a seat, reported and aspiring for a better option.

NOTE:

1. Options given in the first phasewill not be considered for allotment and candidates have to exercise option afresh.

2. Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment and paid the Tuition Fee through online and reported at allotted college need not exercise option once again.

However B.Sc (Mathematics) Degree Holders are not eligible for admission into B. Pharmacy Course.
  • Mere appearing for TSECET-2018 and obtaining a rank does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfils the requirements laid down for admissions.
