Physical Examinations: The candidate will have to run for 4.8 kilometers in 25 minutes. Women candidates are required to run 2.4 kilometers in 14 minutes.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2017 (Revised) – Check Cutoff Marks, Qualified Candidates List at ssc.nic.in

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2017: The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I)-2017 in Computer Based Mode. The Examinations were conducted from 05th to 24th August 2017 at various Centres all over the country. 15,43,418 candidates appeared in the said Examination. Students can check ssc cgl tier 1 result along with selected candidates list region wise from below with hall ticket number.

The result of Tier-I of CGLE, 2017 was declared on 30.10.2017 after considering representations of the candidates and finalization of Answer Keys. However, it was discovered that due to a technical glitch, a few tentative Answer Keys had not been revised. The Commission, therefore, undertook a comprehensive review. Based on the comprehensive review undertaken by the Commission, there has been a lowering in the cut off marks which has resulted in the revision of the result.

The Category-wise details of candidates who have qualified for Tier-II & Tier-III and cut-off applied for each category are given in the Tables below:

While processing the result, it was found that 15 candidates have appeared in the examination twice and 47 candidates who have been debarred by the Commission for unfair means have appeared in the examination. The result of these 62 candidates has not been processed. It is proposed to cancel the candidature of all the 62 candidates. List of 62 said candidates has already been uploaded on the website of Commission

Pursuant to existing Court Orders, the results of 10 candidates with Roll Numbers – 2201026842, 2201045468, 2201062554, 2201098871, 2201105924, 2201272135, 2201293503, 2201325697, 2402006180, 2402019194 have not been declared.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved, as per the policy of the Government must contact the respective Regional Offices of the Commission immediately if they do not belong to the category shown against their Roll numbers.

The details of the candidates in List-I, List-II and List-III have been uploaded on the website of the Commission.

Changes in Board’s Certificate

Changes and Corrections in Name

(i) Correction in name means correction in spelling errors, factual errors, typographical errors in candidate’s Name/Surname, Father’s Name/Mother’s Name to make it consistent with what is given in the school record.

Change in name also includes alteration, addition, deletion to make it different from the school records.

(ii) Application for correction in name may be considered any time provided that the application of the candidate is forwarded with the following documents:

(a) Admission form(s) filled in by the parents at the time of admission.

(b) The School Leaving Certificate of the previous school submitted by the parents of the candidate at the time of admission.

(c) Portion of the page of admission and withdrawal register of the school where the entry has been made in respect of the candidate.

(iii) The Board may effect necessary corrections after verification of the Original records of the school and on payment of the prescribed fee.

(iv) Applications regarding change in name/surname will be considered where such changes have been permitted by a Court of Law and notified in a Government Gazette. In the event of Court of Judicature allowing the change of name of a candidate, the same shall be carried out by the Board after obtaining relevant documents concerning change of name published in an official gazette.

Change/Correction in Date of Birth

(i) No change in the date of birth once recorded in the Board’s records shall be made. However,corrections to correct typographical and other errors to make the certificate consistent with the school records can be made provided that corrections in the school records should not have been made after the submission of application form for admission to Examination to the Board.

(ii) Such correction in Date of Birth of a candidate in case of genuine clerical errors will be made under orders of the Chairman where it is established to the satisfaction of the Chairman that the wrong entry was made erroneously in the list of candidates/application form of the candidate for the examination.

(iii) Request for correction in Date of Birth shall be forwarded by the Head of the School alongwith attested Photostat copies of :

(a) application for admission of the candidate to the School;

(b) portion of the page of admission and withdrawal register where entry in date of birth has been made; and

(c) the School Leaving Certificate of the previous school submitted at the time of admission.

(iv) The application for correction in date of birth duly forwarded by the Head of School alongwith documents mentioned in byelaws 69.2(iii) shall be entertained by the Board only within two years of the date of declaration of result of Class X examination. No correction whatsoever shall be made on application submitted after the said period of two years. This will be effective from the examination to be held in March, 1995.

Eligibility Criteria : –

(1) Age : – The applicant must not be less than 18 (Eighteen) years old and must not be more than 27 (Twenty Seven) years old as on 01.01.2018. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 05 (Five) years for the candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST) and by 03 (Three) years for the candidates belonging to the category of Other Backward Classes (OBC).
