CIRCULAR : All the Principals of the affiliated Colleges are aware that the Government of AP has initiated implementation of jumbling process of the Examinations centers to avoid malpractices, if any, as a precautionary measure. Accordingly the jumbling process of examination centers are being implemented scrupulously in the JNTUK affiliated Colleges and also proved successful.

Some of the Principals/Managements of JNTUK affiliated Colleges have expressed their jubilation in this regard and acknowledge for their cooperation extended. In this connection, a few Colleges are considered as self centers for earlier examinations only, for the time being, in view of their geographical isolation from the sister Colleges.

Henceforth, jumbling process will be implemented scrupulously to all the affiliated Colleges including those geographically isolated Colleges, irrespect of distance constraint as a matter of uniform policy. However, for the Colleges which desire to be self centers; it is mandatory that I.P cameras should be installed in all examinations halls of those Colleges with prior permission of the University. Details of the IP cameras should be communicated to the University to remote oversee. The Principals are also requested to record the proceeds of the examinations in CD and send the soft copy in sealed cover to the under signed soon after completion of the examinations.

The Principals are requested to co-operate in conducting examinations smoothly and to avoid malpractices. The above arrangements should be got ready before commencement of the ensuing examinations without fail.

All the candidates who have secured rank in DEECET-2015 for admission into two year D.Ed. course during the academic year 2015-2017 batch are informed that the 2nd Phase of web based counseling will be taken up as per the schedule given below.

The interested and eligible candidates shall submit their preferences through the link given at http://tsdeecet.cgg.gov.in as per the schedule given below. JNTU Hyderabad has announced B.Tech and B.Pharmacy R15 Regulation New Academic Requirements, Promotion policy (number of credits required) for JNTUH R15 regulation students.

Important Points on R15 Regulation:

  • The candidate shall pursue a course of study not less than 4 academic years and not more than eight academic years.
  • After eight academic years of course of study, the candidate is permitted to write the examinations for two more years.
  • The candidate shall register for 226 (224+2 credits for Gender Sensitization) and secure 218 (216+2) credits and all practical subjects, Industry oriented mini project, Comprehensive Viva-Voce, Seminar and Project work are compulsory subjects.
  • The student can avail exemption of two subjects upto 8 credits, that is, one open elective and one elective subject OR two elective subjects.

Academic Requirements :

  • A student is eligible to write the University examinations only if he/she acquires a minimum of 75% of attendance in aggregate of all the subjects.
  • Condonation of shortage of attendance in aggregate up to 10% (65% and above and below 75%) in each semester or first year may be granted by the College Academic Committee
  • Shortage of Attendance below 65% in aggregate shall not be condoned.
  • If any candidate fulfills the attendance requirement in the present semester or first year, he/she shall not be eligible for readmission into the same class.

Minimum Academic Requirements :

A student is deemed to have satisfied the minimum academic requirements if he/she has earned the credits allotted to each theory/practical design/drawing subject/project and secures not less than 35% of marks in the end semester exam, dnd minimum 40% of marks in the sum total of the mid-term drid end semester exams.

Promotion Rules/Policy (i.e., No of Credits Required)

First To Second Year : 28 credits out of 56 credits of I year from all the examinations (50%)

From second to third year upto II year I sem : 50 credits out of 84 credits from one regular and one supplementary examinations of 1 year, and one regular and one supplementary examination of II year I semester irrespective of whether or not the candidate fakes the examination and secures prescribed minimum attendance in all II year II semester (60%).

From third year to fourth year upto III year I sem : 84 credits out of 140 credits up to Ill year I semester or 100 credits from the following examinations, whether the candidate takes the examinations or not, and secures prescribed minimum attendance in all III year II semester.

a. Two Regular and two supplementary examinations of I year.
b. Two Regular and two supplementary examinations of II year I semester.
c. Two Regular and one supplementary examinations of II year II semester.
a. One Regular and one supplementary examination of III year I semester (60%).

Directorate of Government Examinations andhra pradesh has announced NTSE 2015-16 First level Qualified Candidates List on 15th february 2016 at bseap.org. Candidates those who are appeared for NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION 2015-2016 can check your results from below given links.

AP NTSE 2015 for Class X:  The state level National Talent Search (first level) Examination 2015 Notifications have been issued by the office of the Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh. The State Level National Talent Search 1st level Examination for 10th class students will be conducted.

Examination Pattern/ Test Type: N.C.E.R.T, New Delhi has changed the examination pattern from this year onwards. Language Comprehensive Test (Telugu/Urdu/English) for 50 marks (Only for qualifying), Mental Ability test for 50 and Scholastic test is for 100 marks. The distribution of marks and questions are as follows. The time limit was not changed.

A. Mental Ability – Marks: 50; No. of Questions: 50

B. Scholastic Test

Language Comprehensive Test- Marks:50; No. of Questions: 50

Aptitude Test – Marks: 100; No. of Questions: 100

Selection Process: There will be two-stage selection process for award of scholarship to class X students of AP. For Stage I, selection will be done by the both states of AP through NTS first level examination November‐2015. The Students of AP, who qualify Stage-I, will be eligible to appear for Stage-II examination, conducted by NCERT.

Scholarships: On the basis of the National Talent Search Examination, 1000 scholarships will be awarded. The amount of scholarship will be Rs. 500/ month.

Vijayapatham motivation programme was organised for SSC students. The district administration started programme for the improvement of SSC exam results and further to inculcate confidence among the students through professionals.

The Guntur Zilla Parishad is supplying study material to the SSC students and a 40-day action plan was formulated under which teachers are taking extra classes to hone the study skills of the students to achieve good marks in the SSC exams.
The Vijayapatham programme was conducted on Tuesday in Guntur Medical College auditorium. Minister for social welfare, R. Kishorebabu, inaugurating the programme, asserted on “education without fear” and said that the government was conducting motivation programme through famous hypnotist and psychologist B.V. Pattabhiram to help the students of government schools.

He claimed that the government was spending huge funds to provide good education through state schools and sought success to all students of state schools in the SSC exams with the help of Vijayapatham programme.

Mr Kishorebabu said that education is important for development and added that the government will send worthy merit students to foreign countries for higher studies. He said that recently, the state government sent 120 merit students to various foreign countries and soon will send another 150 merit students. He asked that students to make good use of the scheme to get higher studies of foreign countries free of cost.

Famous hypnotist and psychologist Pattabhiram motivated the students through his speech giving the examples of historical personalities who achieved top place in the society due to education. He also cleared the doubts of the students.
