TSPGECET 2015 2nd Counseling Dates : Telangana state council of higher education Successfully Conducted TSPGECET 2015 1st Phase Counseling. First Phase Seat allotments are released On monday. Students are required to Report to the allotted college between 8th and 11th September, 2015 otherwise allotted seat stands cancelled. Classwork commences from 14th September, 2015.

Qualified Candidates of TSPGECET-2015 who have not attended for Certificate Verification earlier shall get their Certificates verified from designated Help Line Centres mentioned in the Annexure I. The candidates who have participated in Phase-I Counseling can also exercise options using their old password, Login ID, for the leftover seats now available and consequential vacancies that may arise in the process of allotment as per the schedule given below, and it is advised to exercise options for interested Colleges assuming that vacancies are available in the course of their choice.

Who should participate in second & final phase?

a. Who secure a seat in first phase of web based counseling and wish to move to some other college.

EXTENSION OF LAST DATE FOR EXERCISING WEB OPTIONS All the eligible and qualified candidates of GATE/GPAT – 2014 & 2015 and TSPGECET-2015 who have attended Certificate Verification for seeking admission into M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / M.Arch. courses are hereby informed that the last date for exercising web options is extended to 02.09.2015. There are some Colleges in which few courses have been withdrawn and some new colleges/courses included to the existing list after commencement of web counseling. In view of this provision for exercising web options will be made available for all those who have already completed exercising web options and for those who have not yet exercised web options. The candidates can edit/modify the already saved / freezed options on any of these two days. The seat allotment will be released on 07.09.2015, classwork commences from 14th September, 2015.

Good News ! US University to take Telangana University students

US University to take Telangana University students

Hyderabad: The Chicago State University of the United States and Telangana University in Nizamabad have signed a MoU to facilitate student and faculty exchange programme between both the universities.

The MoU was signed by Chicago State University vice-president Dr David Kanis and Telangana University incharge vice-chancellor C. Parthasarathi in the presence of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha at the CM’s camp office in Begumpet on Sunday. Under this MoU, TU students will get admissions into Chicago State University directly without appearing for examinations like GRE, TOEFL etc.

As many as 75 students from Telangana University will be offered admissions every year. Initially, admissions will be given in Computer Science and other technical education courses. This will be extended to Pharma, Nursing, Chemical Technology courses etc in the coming years.

Dr David Kanis said the MoU was possible because of the initiatives taken by Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha and the policy will help provide world-class education to youth in Telangana.
