RGUKT To Conduct Entrance Test for IIIT Admissions 2020-21: Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technology (RGUKT) is planning to conduct the entrance examination for admissions into IIIT courses for the academic session 2020-21. The RGUKT has taken the decision in the governing body meeting. AP Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh, RGUKT Chancellor Prof. KC Reddy, In charge and Vice-chancellor, Higher Education Commission Chairman Prof. K. Hemachandra Reddy, Special Chief Secretary of Government Satishchandra, Educational Department Welfare Committee Chairman Prof. Balakrishnan, board secretary Prof. Sudheer Prem Kumar have participated in this meeting.
RGUKT To Conduct Entrance Test for IIIT Admissions 2020-21
Under RGUKT, IIIT Courses have been offered in Nujiveedu, Idupulapaya, Ongole, and Srikakulam. Students with good merit in class 10th will be offered admission in these IIIT Colleges. The seats will e allotted as per the reservation.
This year the government has declared all the class 10th students as ‘pass’ due to the COVID emergency. Due to this reason, offering the seats in merit basis is not possible.
The RGUKT Governing officials have conducted a meeting for IIIT admissions 2020-21 and decided to conduct the entrance examination for aspirants seeking admission in IIIT.
The IIIT Entrance examination will be conducted for a duration of 3-hours and the test to be conducted in OMR sheet.
As soon as the RGUKT gets the acceptance from the Government, the university is ready to prepare new guidelines, schedule, and other norms for the IIIT entrance test.
