SCR Apprentice Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have the minimum educational qualification of SSC/Class 10th with at least 50% of aggregate and ITI in relevant trade.
Age Limit
The age limit of the applicants should be less than 24 years and more than 15 years as on 8th December 2019.
Age relaxation of 5 years will be offered for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PWBD candidates, and 10 years for ex-servicemen will be offered as per norms.
SCR Apprentice Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be done through a merit basis. Candidates with good academic merit in class 10th and ITI will be shortlisted for the apprentice posts. Equal weightage will be given for class 10th and ITI marks while preparing the merit list.
Application Fee
Applicants must have to pay an application fee of Rs 100/-. Candidates have to pay the application fee through Net Banking of SBI and Internet Banking of other Banks, SBI ATM-Cum Debit card and other banks debits cards, credit cards, or SBI UPI.
SC/ST Candidates/Female candidates of all communities/PWBD Candidates are exempted from the application fee.

How to apply for SCR Apprentice Posts 2019?
Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the online applications at SCR website, scr.indianrailways.gov.in from 9th November to 8th December 2019. Only Online mode of applications will be accepted by the applicants.
- Visit the SCR official website, scr.indianrailways.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on Apprentice Notification. ‘Go through the details from it.
- Log in with the SCR portal with login id and password.
- Click on the ‘Apply Online’ button.
- Fill up the application form with the required details.
- Attach the required scanned copies of documents, signature, photograph, and other needed documents.
- Pay the required application fee using any of the payment modes mentioned by the SCR.
- Finally, submit the application form by clicking on the ‘Apply’ button.
- The application confirmation will be sent to the applicant’s mail id or phone number.
- Take a printout of the application confirmation for further reference.
