Telangana Summer Holidays 2017: Summer Holidays for Telangana State were announced by the School Education Department of Telangana. As per the announced list, the summer holidays in Telangana state will strat from 24th April 2017 and the schools will reopen on 12th June for the academic year 2017 -18. As per the academic schedule 2017 -18 the academic year for all classes begins on 21^st March and continues until 23^rd April. Later the summer holidays will begin from 24^th April.

The Telangana Education Board has also stated the academic holidays for Dussehra, Sankranthi, and Christmas. All the students who are getting their education under Telangana state can check the list of holidays from the academic year 2017 -18 from below.

Schools following the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and ICSE (Indian Council of Secondary Education) will be having the same holidays. But the schedule in some schools may tentative to change slightly as per the decision of the management of the corresponding schools under Telangana board. Reportedly there are 122 CBSE Affiliated and 43,000 state-affiliated schools were functioning under Telangana Board of Education. The holiday timetable announced by Telangana Education department is applicable to all schools working under it.
