TS Police SI Recruitment 2018: TSLPRB has released Telangana SI Recruitment Notification For 1217 Sub Inspector of Police (Civil, AR, SAR CPL, TSSP), Station Fire Officer, Deputy Jailor & Assistant Matron Vacancies through ONLINE mode. Eligible Candidates can apply online for Telangana Police SI Posts on Website www.tslprb.in from 09-06-2018 to 30-06-2018.

Dates of conduct of Preliminary Written Test for Direct Recruitment to the Notified Posts of

•  1,271 Vacancies of SCT SI Civil and / or equivalent,
•  29 Vacancies of SCT SI (Info Tech & Commns),
•  26 Vacancies of SCT Asst SI, Finger Print Bureau and
•  16,925 Vacancies of SCT PC Civil and / or equivalent

1,88,715 Applicants who applied for the Posts of SCT SI Civil and / or equivalent will be administered the Preliminary Written Test on 26th August from 10 am to 1 pm. 13,944 Applicants who applied for the Post of SCT SI (IT & C) will take their PWT from 10 am to 1 pm on 2nd September and 7,700 Applicants for the Post of SCT ASI FPB – from 2.30 to 5.30 pm on the same day. 4,79,166 Applicants for the Posts of SCT PC Civil and / or equivalent will be having their Preliminary Written Test on 30th September 2018.

Eligibility Conditions

1. Age Limit (General)

TSLPRB Raising of Upper Age Limit by 3 Years to various Posts in Police Department

i. For the Post Code Nos. 11 to 15: Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1997. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

ii.For the Post Code No. 17: Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

iii. For the Post Code No. 18: Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 1997. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

The upper age limit will be relaxable as described in the Supplementary Notification.

B. Minimum Educational Qualification:

The Candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2018, a Degree awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State or of any Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification. In the case of a Candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2018, he / she must have passed Intermediate or any other examination recognized by the Telangana State Government as being equivalent to Intermediate and should have studied 3 years Degree course.

Fee: Candidates with local candidature of Telangana belonging to OCs and BCs applying for the Posts of SI Civil or equivalent viz., SCT SI (Civil / AR / SAR CPL / TSSP), SFO in TS Disaster Response & Fire Services Department and Deputy Jailor / Assistant Matron in Prisons & Correctional Services Department have to pay a fee of Rs.1,000/- towards Registration of the Application, Processing of Application, Conduct of Tests and Examinations, Maintenance of Portal etc., Local Candidates of Telangana belonging to SCs and STs have to however, pay only Rs.500/- towards the same. All other Candidates will have to pay Rs.1,000/-. Fee may be paid at TS Online / AP Online / MeeSeva (e-Seva) Centres / through Payment Gateway (Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking).
