The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of Uttar Pradesh. The agency’s charter is granted by the Constitution of India. UPPSC conducts various examinations for filling up the vacancies in various departments. Every year it conducts various examinations for the recruitment of eligible and interested candidates in various departments. The preliminary exam was conducted on 15th december. Paper 1 had 150 questions and was held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Paper 2 had 100 questions and was condcted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
