Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to in-app purchases made through the JNTU Fast Updates mobile application (“App”). Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase.

1. In-App Purchases

JNTU Fast Updates offers the following in-app purchase:

  • Calculator Lifetime Premium: A one-time purchase that provides a lifetime ad-free experience within the SGPA/CGPA Calculator section of the App. This is NOT a recurring subscription.

2. Payment Processing

All in-app purchases are processed through Google Play Store. We do not directly process, store, or have access to your payment card information. Payment is subject to Google Play’s terms of service and billing policies.

3. What You Get with Premium

Upon successful purchase of Calculator Lifetime Premium, you receive:

  • Complete removal of all advertisements within the Calculator section.
  • Lifetime access (no recurring charges or expiration).
  • Premium status linked to your Google Play account.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Within 48 Hours of Purchase (Google Play Automatic Refund)

Google Play allows automatic refunds within 48 hours of purchase for most in-app purchases. To request a refund within this period:

  1. Open Google Play Store on your device.
  2. Tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Budget & order history.
  3. Find the JNTU Fast Updates purchase and tap Request a refund or Report a problem.
  4. Select the reason for refund and submit.

4.2 After 48 Hours

If more than 48 hours have passed since your purchase, refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • The premium features do not work as described after troubleshooting.
  • You were charged due to a technical error or unauthorized purchase.
  • The purchase was accidental (e.g., made by a minor without authorization).

To request a refund after 48 hours, please contact us at jntufastupdates@gmail.com with:

  • Your Google Play order ID (found in your purchase confirmation email).
  • The email address associated with your Google Play account.
  • A brief description of the reason for your refund request.

4.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after using the premium features for an extended period.
  • Switching to a different device (premium status transfers with your Google Play account).
  • Uninstalling the App (you can reinstall and restore your purchase).
  • Issues caused by your device, network, or operating system and not by the App.

5. Cancellation

Since Calculator Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase (not a recurring subscription), there is no subscription to cancel. Once purchased, the premium status remains active for the lifetime of the product.

6. Restoring Purchases

If you switch devices or reinstall the App, your premium purchase can be restored:

  1. Sign in with the same Google account used for the original purchase.
  2. The App will automatically verify your premium status with Google Play.
  3. If automatic restoration fails, contact us with your order details.

7. Free Features

The following features are available for free and do not require any purchase:

  • Reading articles and university updates.
  • Push notifications for exam results and announcements.
  • Bookmarking articles.
  • Browsing categories.
  • Using the SGPA/CGPA Calculator (with advertisements).
  • Downloading study materials and resources.
  • Temporary ad-free access by watching rewarded ads.

8. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change the price of the premium purchase at any time. Price changes will not affect existing purchases. The new price will be displayed on the Google Play Store before any new purchase.

9. Refund Processing Time

  • Google Play automatic refund (within 48 hours): Typically processed within 1-4 business days.
  • Manual refund requests: We will review and respond within 5-7 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed through Google Play within 10 business days.
