Haryana Government to distribute over 2.5 lakh free tablets

The Haryana government is planning to distribute over 2.5 free tablets for students of class 10 and class 12th. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced this free tablet distribution scheme in Haryana state. The devices will be given with preloaded personalized and adaptive learning software. Students will be given free internet data to access the tablets.

CM Lal Khattar, approved the purchase of goods and items worth more than Rs 100 crore. An official statement reads that the proposals are underway from the education department and power department.

CM Lal Khattar in a meeting approved the purchase of adoptive learning software for the higher classes. Buying of software costs more than 5 crores. Buying the SIM cards for all these devices will costs around Rs 47 cr. Students will be given a daily data of 2GB every day on the allotted SIM cards.

The Haryana State Government to distribute over 2.5 lakhs tablets for class 10 and class 12th students. This scheme was specially introduced to promote the digital learning in students. Economically backward students will be beneficial with the Haryana free laptop scheme.
