Internship Opportunities from Govt of Andhra Pradesh – North America: The Andhra Pradesh State government has appointed Special Representative of North America Mr. Jayaram Komati to bring forward the support of NRIs towards state development. Janmabhoomi focuses on three schemes namely Digitization of schools, improving Anganwadi Centers and building crematoriums. The outreach programme gives the NRIs living in North Ameriaca an opportunity to bring about a change in the life of citizens of their homeland. For this programme, we require interns for communication between the special Representative for North America office and his/her respective district.

The duties of the intern will be as follows:

  • Going to schools and empowering teachers on how to use Digital Technology Classrooms on a weekly basis.
  • Interacting with government officials, headmasters, teachers, students during the entire program to check the effectiveness of the program.
  • Communicating with local Anganwadi Centres and collecting useful data to help government understand the impact and effectiveness of this program.
  • Making reports on the data collected and analysing the data.
  • Finishing tasks given within the prescribed deadline.
  • Giving updates to the project manager about the progress on tasks on a daily basis.
  • Should be proactive and punctual.
  • Should be willing to work 6 days a week dedicating 2 hours per day excluding the school visits.
  • Should be passionate to work for the society.

The minimum duration of internship is 2 months and the intern would have to give 14 hours a week.

  • Should be willing to work 6 days a week dedicating 2 hours per day through email, whatsApp etc excluding the school visits for not less than 2 months.
  • Should be passionate to work for the society.
