JEE Main 2022 Exam Pattern of B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning

JEE Main 2022 examination schedule released. As per the scheduled dates, the JEE Main examination will be conducted from 21st April – 4th May. The exam will be held in 2 slots 9 am and 12 noon, and 3 pm and 6 pm. JEE Main Paper I will be conducted for BE, B.Tech courses and Paper 2A will be conducted for BArch and Paper 2B will be conducted for BPlanning.

JEE Main 2022 Exam Pattern of B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning

JEE Main exam will be held for the candidates seeking admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other National Institutes of Technology (NITs) in engineering courses across the country. Based on the performances in JEE Main, the top scores will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2022.

JEE Main Paper 1 will have questions from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. JEE Main B Arch and B Planning papers will have 3 sections. Mathematics and Aptitude will be common for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. For BArch and BPlanning, the exam will be conducted computer-based. While the drawing paper will be conducted pen-paper based for BArch and pen-paper based exam for Planning based questions for BPlanning paper.

JEE Main BTech, BArch, BPlanning Paper Exam Pattern

  • The BE, or BTech paper of JEE Mains will have three sections — Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and will comprise of 90 questions.
  • The BArch paper, or Paper 2A, of JEE Main exam, will have three sections — Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing.
  • The BPlanning paper, or Paper 2B, of JEE MAin exam, will comprise of Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Planning-based questions.
