Sub: JNTUA, Ananthapuramu -Containment, Control and Prevention of COVID- 19 – “Lock Down” extension till 30th June 2020 -Reg

In continuation of this Office circular dated as reference (1) above, where in it was directed to close all the constituent colleges and affiliated colleges of JNTUA till 31.05.2020, I am by direction, hereby inform that all the autonomous and affiliated colleges as well as the constituent units of JNTUA shall remain closed for students till 30.06.2020 as per the Government Orders (Ref 3).

The Principals and the Management are hereby informed that as per guidelines under Phase II of phased Re – opening (Unlock 1) given vide ref (3) the colleges will be opened as per the instructions of A.P State Government and the decision may be taken up in the month of July 2020.

Mean while, the University Examinations schedules, Final Year Project work Viva-Voce Examination schedule etc., of all courses will be informed by the University in due course. The details will be posted in the University official webportal. The students and faculty are advised to access university webportal for further information with regard to the re-opening and examination schedules of all the University Examinations.

The Principals and the Management are advised to make necessary arrangements so as to complete the syllabus of all years (UG and PG) through online mode. The proof of lecture details and attendance of students should be made available in the respective institutions for verification, in future by University authorities.

The University administration will review the situation regularly as per the instructions of A.P State Government and instruct the colleges accordingly. Further, the Principals, the Faculty and the students are informed to stay safe and follow lockdown protocols issued by the Government shown in Annexure – I and avoid violation of lockdown measures mentioned in Annexure – II. You may please instruct the students to be ready to write the examinations after the lockdown period.

  1. Sir please give one chance for r13 candidates and give grace marks for one subject and pass the subject lot of us having one subject all our life depends on the exams

  2. Any chance for students of R15 regulation to give grace marks or can leave one subject to complete their graduation.many students are suffering with single subjects.please help them

  3. Still the university is planning to conduct semester?…. conducting this year end semester just results in mass number of backlogs..so ,please choose a alternative .
