JNTUA Fake/Tampered Certificates – Important Circular from Registrar

It has come to the notice of the University that some of the students of JNTUA have been submitting fake cærtificates or tampered certificates to various companies for employment. The companies generally send the certificates to the University for the verification of the genuineness. It was observed that either the year of passing or the class obtained or the marks in the original certificates are being tampered with by some students who have submitted them to the employers.

All the students are hereby given informed that, if any such case comes to the notice of the University, a complaint will lodged in the nearest Police Station of the candidate based on his/her residential address. The University has also taken a decision to place the information of such students prominently in the JNTUA website.

Once the name of the student goes into Police records, it will ruin their career and future. Hence all the students are warned not to resort to any such practices of producing fake certificates or fabricated certificates for any purpose.
