JNTUGV Guidelines/Instructions for Attending the 1st Convocation Ceremony

The 1st Convocation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada Vizianagaram (JNTU-GV) will be held on Saturday, 11th July 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the University Campus.

Eligible graduates who have successfully completed the requirements for the award of Degrees during the notified academic years 2019-23, 2020-24 and 2021-25 shall be conferred their respective Degree Certificates during the Convocation Ceremony.

Doctoral candidates who have successfully defended their thesis and completed all the prescribed formalities within the notified period shall also be awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree during the Convocation.

University Gold Medals and Endowment Medals shall also be presented to eligible recipients during the Convocation Ceremony.

All eligible graduates who wish to attend the Convocation Ceremony are required to register online through the University Convocation Portal. Only those graduates who complete the registration process successfully shall be permitted to participate in the Convocation Ceremony.

GUIDELINES / INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTENDING THE CONVOCATION CEREMONY

1. Eligibility
   Only those graduates who have been declared eligible by the University are permitted to attend the Convocation Ceremony. Online registration is mandatory for participation. All registered candidates must report to the University Campus on 10th July 2026 by 12:00 Noon at the designated venue for the mock rehearsal and related arrangements. Lunch will be provided to all participants on the above-mentioned two days.
2. Seating
   All graduates must be seated in their allotted places before 10:00 A.M. sharp.
3. Entry Restrictions
   No participant will be allowed to enter the Convocation Hall after 10:00 A.M.
4. Mobile Phones
   All mobile phones must be kept in silent mode or switched off throughout the ceremony.
5. Discipline and Decorum
   Participants are required to maintain strict discipline and decorum during the entire Convocation Ceremony.
6. Exit Protocol
   No participant shall leave the Convocation Hall until the ceremony is officially concluded and all dignitaries have departed.
