JNTUK Relaxation Of Credits For 4-1 B.Tech (R10) Reduced From 40% to 30% : Orders Issued
Sub: – JNTUK – DAP– Relaxations of Credits for promotion to IV B.Tech – I Semester – Under R10 Regulations-Orders – Issued.
Read: (1) JNTUK/DAP/Aca. Reg./2015-16/1 Dated 10-8-2015
(2) Note Orders dated 30.08.2015 of the Hon’ble Vice – Chancellor, JNTUK.
Several students have represented to relax the minimum of 40% credits upto III B.Tech I Semester or III B.Tech II Semester, as most of them have fallen short of the required number of credits even after the applicability of Rule No. 5.4 of R10 academic regulations (2010-11 batch onwards) and addendum thereon.
In view of Samaikyandhra agitation, the 2010-11 B.Tech students were promoted to B.Tech III Year during the academic year 2014-15 by relaxing the credit requirement. As the credit requirement is relaxed during the last academic year, several students are finding it difficult to obtain the required number of credits for this academic year for promotion to B.Tech IV year.
Under the above circumstances, the Hon’ble Vice – Chancellor is pleased to relax the minimum credits required for promotion into IV B.Tech, for the academic year 2015-16 only, as a special case, details of which are as follows:
- Relaxation of the credits from 40% to 30% up to III B.Tech I Semester from all the examinations.
- Relaxation of the credits from 40% to 30% up to III B.Tech II Semester from all the examinations.
Note :This credit relaxation should not be claimed as precedence in the future academic years. For the Next Academic Year onwards the minimum number of credits for promotion remains 40%.
