JNTUK – DAP – List of detained candidates at the end of B.Tech II & III Years during the academic year 2015-16 & 2014-15 – Implementation of Academic Regulations
You are aware that the B.Tech students who have not fulfilled the minimum requirements are to be detained as per the academic regulations in force.
The minimum Credits for the students of R13 regulation admitted in the year A.Y. 2015-16 & 2014-15 for the promotion to III & IV year is as follows.
- “A student will be promoted from II year to III year if he/she fulfills the academic requirement of 40% of the credits up to II year I semester from all the examinations, whether or not the candidate takes the examinations and secures prescribed minimum attendance in II year II semester”
- “A student will be promoted from III year to IV year if he/she fulfills the academic requirement of 40% of the credits up to III year I semester from all the examinations, whether or not the candidate takes the examinations and secures prescribed minimum attendance in III year II semester”
The Principals of the affiliated Colleges shall send the list of detained candidates who failed to fulfill the minimum academic regulations immediately to Director, Academics & Planning and Director of Evaluation.

Excuse me sir i have a doubt i had been detained after 2-2 by having 56 credits & the promoting credit for the 3-1 was 58 credits . So, now can i be promoted in the 3-2 after writing the supplies of my 2-1 & 2-2 supplies & can i be attend to the classes as a regular student to the 3-2 . & can i write full supplimentary for the 3-1 . Can u clarify my doubt pls …….. ????????
