NEET UG 2020 Notification: National Testing Agency (NTA) released the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG Notification 2020. Harsh Vardhan, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had declared last week that the NEET UG 2020 Notification to be out soon. As per the update, this year AIIMS and JIPMER examinations will be canceled and the admission will be done through only NEET examination for all medical UG Courses. This year NEET UG Examination is going to be held on 3rd May 2020 across the nation. Hence the competitors applying for NEET examination have to get ready as this year a large number of competitors are going to take part in the exam. Aspirants having 12th class/Intermediate qualification with Bi.P.C group are eligible to apply for the NEET examination. The admission will be offered to various Medical Degree courses [MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH] will be offered on the basis of merit shown in the NEET examination. NEET UG Eligibility Criteria 2020
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have passed subjects biology/biotechnology, physics, chemistry, (Bi.PC) and English and obtained a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for the NTA NEET examination.
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST and OBC category who have obtained 40 percent marks are eligible.
Age Limit
Candidates who wish to apply for the NTA NEET examination must have the age limit of 17 years old on or before 31st December 2019. The age limit of the applicants must not exceed 25 years as on the date of examination.
Age Relaxation
As per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, OBC & SC/ST Candidates will get age relaxation up to 5 years.
Selection Process
Candidates who clear the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test with good merit are entitled to get admission (in MBBS/BDS Courses) on a ranking basis.
