The MPBSE board has changed the marking scheme from this year. As per the new marking scheme, 80 marks will be given for the theory-based and 20 marks for practical and project works. Google, Telangana Government Collaborate to support entrepreneurs

Telangana state government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with tech giant Google to support women and youth entrepreneurs with digital support. The Telangana state government is planning to construct a three million square foot building in the city. Google signed an MoU in presence of Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao.

“A 3.3 million sq ft energy efficient campus built with sustainability will stand as a landmark for Hyderabad for decades to come.. Thanks to Google for their continued support,” Rama Rao tweeted. According to a Google release, Rama Rao unveiled the building design at the ceremony held onsite. The three million square foot building prioritises sustainability and energy efficiency throughout its design, it said.

The Telangana state government is going to extend its support for women and youth entrepreneurs with various aspects like business and financial skills training, digital support, and other facilities. Google is extending its support with its various arms to extend scholarships for Google Career Certificates to Telangana’s youth, and support women entrepreneurs. The Telangana state government is planning to improve public transportation and digital technologies in Agriculture.

Speaking after the signing of MoU, Rama Rao said Telangana and Google a great journey together. “You always had one of your largest presences in the world. You have continued to support us, our growth, the technology and IT sector. Google being Google, the leader, I think that has really helped the image of the city and the image of my state Telangana as well,” he said.

“Today, I am very pleased to share that Google is deepening its Hyderabad connection and its roots in Hyderabad through new 7.3 acre campus in Gachibowli. We have just unveiled the design for the new building. We have done the ceremonial concrete pouring as well,” he said. Through the new MoU, making a step-change in communities such as youth, women, and students and in citizen services is being focused upon.

Country Head and Vice President of Google India, Sanjay Gupta said Hyderabad has said that Hyderabad is the place of largest employee basis in India.

On the collaboration with the state government, he said, “Over the years, we have partnered with the Telangana government to bring the benefits of Google’s technologies and programs to serve the needs of people in the state.”

“Today, we are pleased to strengthen our association to support and accelerate the efforts of the Telangana government to help youth learn the right skills for employment, support women entrepreneurs with digital skills, and modernize schools for children,” he added.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the admit cards/hall tickets for Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) for Jammu and Kashmir candidates for theory examination on the official website – nios.ac.in. The competitors who are appearing for NIOS D.El.Ed and vocational courses can download and print the hall tickets to carry to the examination.

KVS Admission 2022-23 Revised Schedule for Class 1

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, or KVS, has announced the revised schedule for class 1 admissions 2022-23. The KVS is going to release the provisional selection list and a waiting list of registered candidates on 29th April 2022. The 2nd list will be released on 6th May 2022 and the 3rd selection list will be released on 10th May 2022. The KVS schools announced that the provisional selection list of candidates as per priority service category for unreserved seats may commence from May 6 to May 17, 2022.

KVS Admission 2022-23 Revised Schedule for Class 1

KVS is going to update the selection lists on its official website, kvsangathan.nic.in. The revised schedule for class 1 admissions will be accessible on the same portal.

The extended dates for the offline applications as per RTE provisions are from 12th May to 18th May. SC/ST and OBC (NCL), candidates can send their offline application forms during the announced dates. The admission list display and admission process will takes place from 23rd May to 30th May. Students can apply before 30th June [except class 11].

BSE Odisha Rescheduled Class 10 & Open School Exams

Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha announced a postponement in class 10th [Madhyama exams] and the State Open School Certificate Examination (SOSCE). As the heatwave condition is severe, the BSE Odisha has planned to reschedule the examination dates.

BSE president Ramashis Hazra has revealed that class 10th and open school examinations were rescheduled to May 9 and May 10 from 8m. Earlier the BSE announced the class 10 and open school exam dates as 2nd and 4th from 11.30 am. While the dates were extended and the timings were changed to morning shift.

The High School Certificate (HSC) examinations are going to start on 29th April. There will be no change in the HSC schedule. The HSC exams will be conducted from 8 am to 10 am.

This year a total of 5.85 lakh students will appear for the HSC examinations. The HSC examinations will be conducted at 3,303 centers. More than 35,000 teachers are going to supervise the examinations this year, Hazra said.

38 special squads and 65 flying squads were set up by the BSE Odisha board to supervise the HSC examinations.

School and Mass Education Minister S R Dash said that CCTV surveillance systems will be monitoring the student’s actions to conduct the exams in a transparent way. The students will not be allowed to carry mobile phones.

The education minister asked the power distribution companies to supply uninterrupted electricity service during the examinations. Also, the examination authorities are advised to supply water for the students during the examinations.

The technical educational institutions will remain closed from Thursday till May 3. The Skill Development and Technical Education Department will issue the notifications to close the technical educational institutions.

The West Bengal Government has planned to declare the summer vacations for schools early because of the massive heatwave conditions. The schools will remain closed from 2nd May to 15th June 2022. Darjeeling and Kalimpong schools will also have the same holidays.

The West Bengal state government is planning to shift primary school’s working hours from day to morning. The government is also taking various precautions to save the children from the soaring heatwave. As the temperatures are exceeding 40 degrees Celsius for three days in a row, the government is considering the health officials for supporting the children during the heatwave.

Seema Sapru, principal at The Heritage School, said, “In the pre-Covid years, exams used to take place in February and March. So, the kids never had to face this kind of heat. Today we allowed the board examinees to avail of our bus services and ensured they had their meals at school. Of the 182 students taking their exam today, 40 came by bus. We have also decided that from the May 16 to 20, our children will have online classes so that they do not have to be out in the summer heat.”

Principal at DPS Howrah Sunita Arora said, “I have ordered glucose and ORS for our infirmary. A supply will be kept in each exam room. We also encourage students to continuously drink water. Moreover, we are holding exams in the better-ventilated rooms. Eighteen students will be allotted to each room in three rows to ensure more space.”

Vijaylaxmi Kumar, principal at Asian International School, said, “We will conduct an online orientation programme on Tuesday for our Class X students, advising them on how to take guard against the heat-wave-like conditions. We will hold a similar session for Class XII before their boards. The school is also stocking up on glucose and medical help will continue to be available.”

Supriyo Dhar, secretary at La Martiniere, said, “Boards students will write their papers in AC rooms. If students face any issues with exhaustion or sickness during transit, they will receive immediate medical attention.”

Age Limit:

  • Age limit: The minimum age for the application is 18 years and maximum is 24 years.
