Karnataka CET 2022 Registration from 18th April, Check details

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has started the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) registration process from today, 18th April 18, 2022 from 11 AM onwards. Aspirants seeking to apply for KCET 2022 can apply soon via KEA official website, kea.kar.nic.in. KCET or Karnataka UGCET examination is going to be attempted by aspirants seeking admission in engineering, pharmacy, and some other undergraduate-level professional courses. Candidates seeking to get admission in UG Degree courses in Karnataka colleges can apply for the KCET 2022.

The KCET examination is slated to be held between June 16 and June 18.

Biology and Mathematics paper on June 16. On June 17, Physics and Chemistry papers on 18 June will be conducted.

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan scheduled the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) examination on 4th and 5th May respectively. Competitors who are getting ready to appear for the KTET 2022 can download the KTET hall tickets from the official portal, ktet.kerala.gov.in. The hall ticket link will be activated on KTET portal from 25th April onwards. IGNOU Extended Application Dates For BEd, BSc Nursing Entrance Exams

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) revised and extended the last dates for application of BEd and NSc Nursing entrance exams. The university has earlier announced the last date to apply for the B.Ed and B.SC nursing application dates as 17th April. While the last date has been extended to 24th April. Interested and eligible aspirants seeking to apply for IGNOU Entrance exams [for B.Ed and B.Sc Nursing] can apply at the official website, ignou.ac.in.

As the application date was extended, aspirants can visit the IGNOU official website, ignou.ac.in and fill up the applications till the last date, 24th April.

Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000 to send the online applications.

IGNOU announced that the B.ED and B.Sc Nursing entrance examination will be held on 8th May 2022.

 “With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for registration of BEd and BSc Nursing (Post Basic) entrance exam for January 2022 session is hereby extended upto April 24, 2022,” an IGNOU statement issued in this regard said.

IGNOU has also extended the assignment submission date of the December 2021 Term-End Examination till 30 April.

And the June 2022 term-end examination assignment submission date was extended to 15th May 2022.

MP Board Controller Balwant Verma has revealed that the MPBSE board is planning to announce the class 10, 12 results in the last week of April or the first week of May [tentatively]. As per the information from some of the familiar news sources, the MP Board is going to declare the class 10 and class 12th results on 25th April 2022. Haryana Government to distribute over 2.5 lakh free tablets

The Haryana government is planning to distribute over 2.5 free tablets for students of class 10 and class 12th. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced this free tablet distribution scheme in Haryana state. The devices will be given with preloaded personalized and adaptive learning software. Students will be given free internet data to access the tablets.

CM Lal Khattar, approved the purchase of goods and items worth more than Rs 100 crore. An official statement reads that the proposals are underway from the education department and power department.

CM Lal Khattar in a meeting approved the purchase of adoptive learning software for the higher classes. Buying of software costs more than 5 crores. Buying the SIM cards for all these devices will costs around Rs 47 cr. Students will be given a daily data of 2GB every day on the allotted SIM cards.

The Haryana State Government to distribute over 2.5 lakhs tablets for class 10 and class 12th students. This scheme was specially introduced to promote the digital learning in students. Economically backward students will be beneficial with the Haryana free laptop scheme.

CBSE to conduct single board exam for Classes X and XII from next year

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to organize a single board exam for class 10 and class 12 from 2022-23 academic sessions. Due to the COVID pandemic, the board has split the academic examinations to term 1 and term 2 for 2021-22 batch. While the CBSE board has taken the decision to re-store single board exams pattern from next year onwards.

CBSE to conduct single board exam for Classes X and XII from next year

The CBSE board has divided the board exams into term I and term II for the academic session 2021-22. The term I exams were organized in November-December months and the Term II exams were scheduled from 26th April. The board has announced that more weightage will be given to the term 2 examinations.  

While, before year the examinations were cancelled due to COVID surge and the results were declared by considering the internal assessment marks, practical examinations, and previous examination results of the students.

After the request from several schools, the CBSE board has taken the decision to organize the examinations at the end of the academic year as earlier.

“CBSE never announced that the two-term exam format will be continued henceforth. It was a one-time formula. Now that schools are functioning in full capacity, the decision, for now, is to stick to the one-time exam format,” said the official.

Students seeking admission to the Jamia Senior Secondary School, Jamia Girls Sr Secondary School (S/F), SAH Sr Secondary School (S/F), including primary section, and Mushir Fatma Nursery School can apply online at JMI official portal, Jmicoe.in . The JMI will accept applications till May 13. Applicants need to pay a sum of Rs 300 towards application fee.
