Eligibility to appear for POL YCET-2022:
Candidates who have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, TS, Hyderabad are eligible to apply. The candidates who have compartmentally passed or appearing for SSC-2022 are also eligible to apply. However, they must have passed in all the subjects before seeking admission. Pattern and Syllabus for the examination
The examination (POLYCET) will be of 2 hours duration consisting of only one paper as per the syllabus in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of X Class (S.S.C.) Examination held in March/April-2022 as prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana State.
The Question paper consists of 120 questions with a choice of four responses for each question with only one correct response among them.
i) 60 Questions in Mathematics for 60 Marks.
ii) 30 Questions in Physics for 30 Marks.
iii) 30 Questions in Chemistry for 30 Marks.
The Admission Schedule:-
The admission schedule (Web Counseling) will be notified in all the leading Newspapers after declaration of POLYCET-2022 results. Candidates are advised to note that the admission into Polytechnics for the academic year 2022-23 shall be made on the basis of Web Counseling, wherein the candidates can opt for any courses in any Polytechnic in the order of priority and the allotment shall be made for his/her best preferred choice based on his/her merit and other admission rules in vogue. Details of Web counseling and the list of Helpline centers will be available on the website https://tspolycet.nic.inand shall also be notified in all the leading Newspapers after declaration of POLYCET-2022 results.
Important Instructions for candidates:-
a) Hall Ticket issued to you is an important document. Please preserve it carefully till the admissions.
b) Candidate shall arrive at the examination hall at least 1 hour before commencement of the examination. This will enable the candidate to familiarize himself/herself with OMR response sheet.
c) Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 11:00AM, once the examination has commenced.
d) Candidates are directed to carry the following to the examination hall (a). Good ball point pen (black), (b). Writing pad (c). HB or 2B Pencils (d).an Eraser (e). Sharpener.
e) Candidate should not bring log books, tables, calculators, tabs, cell phones, communicable/programmable electronic gadgets etc. into examination hall.

r) The OMR response sheet should be handled carefully and the candidates are advised not to fold or wrinkle or tear the OMR sheet under any circumstances. Candidates are advised not to scribe or make any marks on the response sheet except marking answers other relevant data at appropriate places. Candidates shall note that they will not be given under any circumstances a second OMR sheet.
s) Candidate shall mark the correct answer in the OMR response sheet by shading in dark the appropriate circle with HB or 2B pencil. They should not use ball pen for this purpose under any circumstances.
