NEET Tie-Breaker

Candidates appeared for the NEET examination 2020 can check the tie-breaker rules from the following.

Initially, Biology (Botany and Zoology) marks scored by the candidates will be considered. Candidates with higher marks in Biology are allocated higher rank.
If the above is not sufficient, then the marks of the candidates in Chemistry test are checked. Again, the candidate with higher rank gets higher marks.
Tier still persists, then the number of attempts is counted and the candidate who has less incorrect answers gets the higher rank.
Lastly, to break the tie, the age of the candidate is considered. The older candidate is allocated a higher rank.

All the Principals of colleges offering B.Tech./B.Pharm. courses are informed to note that the University is scheduled to conduct the B.Tech./B.Pharm II Year I sem regular/supply and II Year II sem supply University Examinations to the students in conventional (off-line) mode at the centres which are nearer to their respective hometowns/ villages.

The Principals are requested to make arrangements to contact all students of above mentioned courses and take at most three cluster options (in the order of preference) from each student for writing their examinations. The places which the students are opting must have at least one JNTUH affiliated Engg. / Pharmacy college. The students who desire to write the exam at their parent college cluster (where the student is studying), need not give their options. If any student does not submit his/her options, it shall be assumed that his/her parent college cluster is his/her cluster preference. Further, if the seating capacity exceeds at all three preferences, Parent College cluster shall be the exam centre for such students.

The entry of the student preferences have to be carried out by the college exam branch staff only. For the service to enter the student options, visit the exams registration portal. Last date for uploading the centre preference is 07-02-2022. (Monday). For the students who will write B. Tech. / B.Pharm. III & IV years I sem reg/supply III year II sem supply exams the exam centre for B. Tech./B.Pharm II Year I sem reg/supply and II year II sem supply exams will be the same for all these examinations.

All the Principals of affiliated colleges are hereby informed to conduct Laboratory external examinations for IV/III B.Tech / B.Pharmacy 1st Semester Reg./Supple. Examinations, Jan./Feb. 2022 students are to be conducted from 28-01-2022 to 17-02-2022.

The above examinations are to be conducted without any inconvenience to the external (Theory) examinations. The reports/OMR sheets of the above Laboratory exams are to be submitted in person to CE office as per the below schedule.

INSTRUCATIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

Candidates are advised to present in the examination hall half an hour before the commencement of the exam.
Legal suits against the University, if any, Shall be filled in courts within the jurisdiction of Guntur City only.
University reserves the right of allotment of examination centers to individual candidates as well as colleges also.
You are prohibited from writing your Name or Register Number, on any part of the answer book. Please ensure that the OMR sheet issued to you contains your name and register number.
Candidates Should Carry their Hall-Tickets to the examination hall for inspection by any officer authorized for this purpose.
Candidates have to verify Whether Correct question paper is received from the invigilator, before taking the Examination.
Write your answers on both sides of the Answer Script.
Strict silence should be maintained in the examination hall.
Do not write in the Left margin, except the question number.
The responsibility to hand over the answer script to the invigilator lies with you only.
University observers and flying squad members are empowered to check any candidate in the examination hall or outside the examination hall during the examination for detecting any malpractice.
You should write all the answers in the given answer book only. No additional sheets will be supplied.
Candidates writing the examination at a centre other than the allotted one, without prior permission of the Controller of Examinations,ANU or the chief Superintendent of the Examination Center Who is authorized by the Controller of Examinations ANU are liable for cancellation of their performance.
