ORDER: The Vice-Chancellor has approved the minutes of the meeting of the Malpractice Enquiry Committee held on 10-11-2021 and 11-11-2021 and ordered the following.

After careful examination of the cases listed below, the Malpractice Enquiry Committee is of the Opinion that Candidates were involved in the Malpractice of bringing forbidden material/written on palms/ pads etc., and their offences come under category of 1 or 2 or 3 of the nature of offences listed in the “Scale of Punishment to Defaulters at University Examinations” approved by the Executive Council No.ANU/PG&P/SMP/Sca1e of pun/2008 dated: 20-06-2008.

As such the candidates mentioned below may be awarded the punishment of cancellation of that particular paper in which they were caught and they may be permitted to appear for the next university examinations and their results may be declared in all other papers that they have appeared in that sitting.

STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP) FOR CONDUCT OF EXAMINATIONS

1. Entire examination centre floors and walls, doors, gates, should be sprayed with disinfectant.

2. Fresh mask and gloves to be used by exam functionaries.

3. Sanitizer bottles should be arranged at the entry gate, examination rooms, staff/observer room etc. and should be replenished regularly.

4. All liquid hand wash bottles should be replenished in restrooms and entry gate whenever required.

5. Candidates seating area should be thoroughly sanitized (Desk and the chair) after every session.

6. All the washrooms should be cleaned and disinfected.

7. All door handles, staircase railing lift buttons, etc. should be disinfected.

8. Wheelchairs, if present at the examination centres, should be disinfected.

9. All the trash bins should be cleaned.

10. Exam functionary must submit self-declaration about health status.

11. Thermo gun temperature check must be done at staff entrance point.

12. Exam functionary needs to wear the mask and gloves at all time.

13. Cleanliness and hygienic conditions to be maintained at all places.

14. Proper Signages, Symbols, Posters etc. should be displayed at appropriate place to maintain social distancing.

15. Avoid crowding at entry and exit points

16. There should be proper markings with at least 2 meter distance where students stand while waiting for opening of the college gate. Before entry, after completion of examination, entry and exit of students should permitted one by one only.

17. Thermal Screening of students, wearing of face mask, sanitizing of hands etc. be ensured.

18. The invigilators, while on duty, should be continuously wearing mask, and proper hand gloves.

19. The students should be asked to sanitize their hands before and after signing the Attendance Sheet.

20. Students having symptoms of fever, cough and cold should be either made to sit in a separate room.

21. Minimum distance between two students should be 2 meters:

22. Adequate arrangements for safe drinking water be made on the campus.

23. Adequate supply of water in toilets and for hand washing be ensued.

24. Proper sanitization of buses, other transport and official and vehicles of the institutions.

25. In case there is a restriction on movements in certain areas, admit/identity cards should be issued to the students.

AP NMMS Previous Question Papers: Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education recently accepted applications for National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) examination 2022. A large number of students pursuing class 8th in Andhra Pradesh state have applied for the NMMS examination 2022. AP NMMS Notification 2022 – Apply Online For Scholarship Scheme: It is hereby notified that the State Level National Means-cum­Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for class VIII will be announced later. The Examination conducted in Telugu, Urdu and English medium at all Revenue Divisional Head Quarters of 13 Districts in the State.

The due dates may be downloaded from the web site “www.bse.ap.gov.in“. The applications will be received through online procedure only.

2022వ సంవత్సరం లో జరగనున్న నేషనల్ మీన్స్ కమ్ మెరిట్ స్కాలర్షిప్ పరీక్ష (NMMS) కొరకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రం లోని 8 వ తరగతి చదువుచున్న విద్యార్ధుల నుండి దరఖాస్తులు ఆహ్వానించబడుచున్నవి.

NMMS  పరీక్ష వ్రాయుటకు రాష్ట్రం లోని ప్రభుత్వ, జిల్లా పరిషత్, మునిసిపల్, ఎయిడెడ్, 8వ తరగతి నడపబడుచున్న మండల పరిషత్ ప్రాధమికోన్నత పాఠశాలలు మరియు వసతి సౌకర్యం లేని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ఆదర్శ పాఠశాలలలో 8 వ తరగతి చదువుచున్న విద్యార్థులు అర్హులు. పరీక్ష రుసుము జనరల్ మరియు బి.సి విద్యార్థులకు రూ.100/- మరియు యస్.సి, యస్.టి విద్యార్ధులకు రూ. 50/-లు. దరఖాస్తులను ఆన్ లైను లో 27-12-2021 నుండి స్వీకరించబడును. ఆన్ లైను లో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకొనుటకు చివరి తేదీ 27-01-2022 మరియు పరీక్ష రుసుము చెల్లించుటకు చివరి తేదీ 29-01-2022. పూర్తి వివరముల కొరకు ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకుల కార్యాలయపు వెబ్ సైటు www.bse.ap.gov.in నందు మరియు సంబంధిత జిల్లా విద్యాశాఖాధికారి కార్యాలయంలో తెలుసుకొనగలరు అని ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల సంచాలకులు తెలియజేసారు.

Eligibility for NMMS Exam 2022:

A candidate who has/ is

(i)Due to coivd-19 pandemic and lockdown all students of Class VIII in academic year 2021-22 who have been promoted from Class VII will be allowed to appear in the NMMSS Exam of 2021, as a special case, irrespective of minimum marks.

(ii) Studying in Government, Local Body (ZP/Municipal), Government Aided, AP Model (day scholars only) and MPUP (Running 8th class) schools only.

(iii) Whose parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below Rs.1,50,000/- from all sources for which candidates have to produce latest original Annual Income Certificate issued by the MRO, in case of Private employee and certificate issued by the employer in case of Government employee.

(iv) Candidate has to submit the original caste certificate and also Income certificate (issued by the MRO) to the Headmaster.

Examination fee for NMMS Scholarship 2022

Exam Fee is Rs.100/- for OC/BC students & Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PH students. The examination fee has to be paid through SBI Collect only (follow user guide available in website www.bseap.org). The following are the due dates for remittance of examination fee and for submission of applications.

Information can be obtained from the concerned School Head Master/ District Educational Officer. The application forms should be uploaded online in the website “www.bseap.org”.

Scheme OF NMMS EXAMINATION

Under this scheme, 100,000 scholarships are awarded to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than Rs. 1,50,000/- per annum from all sources. Each State /UT have fixed quota of scholarship as given at Annexure of concerned age group of class VII and VIII. The scheme would provide reservation to different categories of students as per the State/UT norms;

  • These scholarships will be provided on yearly basis to the students studying as regular students in class IX in a Government, Government-aided and local body schools which will be renewed for classes X, XI and XII. Thus the scholarships will be for a maximum period of four years. 
  • The amount of scholarship will be Rs. 12000/- per annum @ Rs. 1000 per month. 
  • A separate examination shall be conducted by the State Governments/UT Administrations for selection of students for the award of the National Means­ cum-Merit Scholarships in the States/UTs.

Procedure for Selection of Awardee Students:

Each State/UT will conduct its own test for selection of students for the award of the Means-cum-Merit Scholarship. The State Level Examination may consist of the following two tests.

(i) Mental Ability Test (MAT) 

(ii) Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) 

The students shall have minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent grade in Class VII examination for appearing in selection test for award of scholarship (relax able by 5% for SC/ST students). The students should be studying as regular student in a Government, Government-aided and local body schools.

Mental Ability Test may consist of 90 multiple-choice questions testing verbal and non-verbal meta-cognitive abilities like reasoning and critical thinking. The questions in the test may be on analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figure etc.

Scholastic Aptitude Test may consist of 90 multiple-choice questions covering subjects namely, science, social studies and mathematics as taught in classes VII and VIII

Duration of the NMMS Exam Test

Each test will be of 90 minutes duration. Children with disability will be given extra time, as applicable.
