ఇంజినీరింగ్ తరగతుల నిర్వహణకు సంబంధించి జేఎన్టీయూ అనంతపురం యాజమాన్యం స్పష్టతనిచ్చిం ది. యూనివర్సిటీ గ్రాంట్స్ కమిషన్ (యూజీసీ) ఆదేశాల మేరకు తరగతుల నిర్వహణ, ఫైనలియర్ విద్యార్థులకు పరీక్షల షెడ్యూలకు సంబంధించి విధివిధానా లను రూపొందించింది. యూజీసీ మార్గద ర్శకాలకు అనుగుణంగా జేఎన్టీయూ అనంతపురం అంతర్గత కమిటీ అయిన ప్రొఫెసర్ సి. శశిధర్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో తాజాగా నిబంధనలు రూపకల్పన జరిగింది. కమిటీ సిఫార్సుల మేరకు జేఎన్టీయూ అనంత పురం రిజిస్టార్ ఎం. విజయ కుమార్ సోమవారం ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేశారు.

పై తరగతులకు ప్రమోట్..

బీటెక్ మొదటి సంవత్సరం చదివే విద్యార్థులకు ప్రస్తుతానికి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిం చకుండానే కోర్పు రెండో సంవత్సరానికి ప్రమోట్ చేస్తారు. అయితే ఈ ప్రమోట్ చేసే విధానంలో మార్చి 17 వరకు ఆన్లైన్ హాజ రును పరిగణలోకి తీసుకోవాలి. లా డౌన్ సమయంలో ఆన్లైన్ తరగతులకు సంబం ధించిన హాజరును పరిగణలోకి తీసుకోవాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ఆన్లైన్, ఆన్లైన్ తరగతుల హాజరు శాతాన్ని బట్టి పై తరగతికి ప్రమోట్ చేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది. బీటెక్ రెండో సం వత్సరం చదివే విద్యార్థికి మూడో సంవత్సరా నికి, మూడో సంవత్సరం చదివే విద్యార్థికి నాలుగో సంవత్సరానికి ప్రమోట్ చేస్తారు. హాజరు శాతం సరిగా లేకపోతే డిటైన్ (నిలుపుదల ) చేస్తారు. 2020-21 విద్యా సం వత్సరానికి సంబంధించిన సబ్జెక్టులు చదువు కోవచ్చు. అయితే 2019-20 విద్యా సం వత్సరం సెమిస్టర్ పరీక్షలు మాత్రం కరోనా ఉధృతి తగ్గిన తరువాత నిర్వహించనున్నారు.

అయితే పై తరగతులకు ప్రమోట్ చేయడానికి క్రెడిట్స్ మినహాయింపు కల్పించారు. ఇక… ల్యాబోరేటరీ హాజరు లెక్కింపునకు.. ప్రాక్టికల్ తరగతులకు హాజరయిన సరాసరి హాజరును బట్టి ల్యాబోరేటరీ హాజరు లెక్కిం చాలని కమిటీ సిఫార్సు చేసింది.

సెప్టెంబర్ 1 నుంచి ఫైనలియర్ విద్యార్థులకు పరీక్షలు..

సెప్టెంబర్ 1 నుంచి ఫైనలియర్ విద్యార్థు లకు సెమిస్టర్ పరీక్షలు జరగనున్నాయి. అయితే ఇది తాత్కాలిక షెడ్యూల్ మాత్రమే. ఫైనలియర్ విద్యార్థులకు బ్యాక్ లాగ్స్ ఉంటే సప్లిమెంటరీ పరీక్షలు సైతం నిర్వహించాలని యూజీసీ స్పష్టం చేసిన నేపథ్యంలో సెప్టెంబర్ 1 నుంచి ఫైనలియర్ విద్యార్థులకు రెగ్యులర్ పరీక్షలు పూర్తయిన తరువాత సప్లి మెంటరీ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఫైనలియర్ విద్యార్థులకు రెండో మిడ్ పరీక్షలు ప్రధాన పరీక్షలు నిర్వ హించినప్పుడే జరుగుతాయి. బీటెక్ ఫైనలి యర్ విద్యార్థులు (అనంతపురం, వై స్సార్ కడప, కర్నూలు, చిత్తూరు, పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు నెల్లూరు) 5 జిల్లాల్లో కలిపి 37 వేల మంది హాజరుకానున్నారు.

జంబ్లింగ్ విధానం రద్దు..

జేఎన్టీయూ అనంతపురం పరిధిలో సెమిస్టర్ పరీక్షలు జంబ్లింగ్ విధానంలో నిర్వహించేవారు. కానీ తాజాగా బీటెక్ ఫైనలియర్ పరీక్షల్లో జంబ్లింగ్ విధానానికి స్వస్తి చెప్పారు. విద్యార్థి ఏ ప్రాంతంలో నివాసం ఉంటారో .. అక్కడి దగ్గరి ప్రాంతా ల్లోనే పరీక్ష కేంద్రం ఆప్షన్ ఎంచుకునే అవ కాశం కల్పించారు. విద్యార్థులను భౌతిక దూరం పాటించి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిం చుకునేందుకు గదులు ఎక్కువగా కేటా యించాల్సి ఉంటుందని నిబంధనలు రూపొందించారు. ప్రతి రోజూ రెండు బ్రాంలకు మాత్రమే పరీక్షలు జరిగేలా షెడ్యూల్ రూపకల్పన జరి గింది. ప్రతి గదిలో కేవలం 24 మందిని మాత్రమే పరీక్షకు కేటా యించాలి. సీసీ కెమెరాల పర్యవే క్షణ ఉండాలి. వీడియో రికార్డింగ్ తప్పనిసరిగా చేయాలి.

ఆగస్టు 17 నుంచి తరగతులు..

2020-21 విద్యా సంవత్సరం ఆగస్టు 17 నుంచి ప్రారంభం కానుంది. అయితే ఆన్లైన్ విధానంలో కోర్సుకు సంబంధిం చిన సబ్జెక్టులు బోధించవచ్చు. ఆన్లైన్ హాజ రుశాతాన్ని పరిగణలోకి తీసుకోనున్నారు.

హాస్టల్ లో ఒక గదిలో ఒక విద్యార్థి..

పరీక్షలు జరిగే సమయంలో క్యాంపస్ కళా శాల హాస్టళ్లు, లేదా అనుబంధ ఇంజినీరింగ్ హాస్టళ్లలో ఒక గదిలో ఒక విద్యార్థి మాత్రమే కేటాయించాలి. ప్రతి రోజూ హాస్టళ్లలో శానిటైజేషన్ చేయాలి.

మార్కుల మదింపుపై స్పష్టత..

ఇంజినీరిం గ్ కోర్సులో అంతర్గత మార్కులు ( ఇంటర్నల్ మార్కులు) ప్రధానమైనవి. ఈ మార్కుల మదింపును ఎలా చేయాలనే అంశం పై కమిటీ స్పష్టతనిచ్చింది. బీటెక్ మొదటి, రెండు, మూడు సంవత్సరాల విద్యార్థులకు ఇప్పటిదాకా ఒక మిడ్ పరీక్ష మాత్రమే జరిగింది. రెండో మిడ్ పరీక్ష జరగలేదు. ఫైనలియర్ విద్యార్థులకు నిర్వహించే ప్రధాన పరీక్ష సమయంలోనే బీటెక్ మొదటి, రెండు, మూడు సంవత్సరాల విద్యార్థులకు రెండో మిడ్ పరీక్ష నిర్వహించాలి. రెండో మిడ్ పరీక్ష మార్కులు వచ్చిన తరువాత ఇంటర్నల్ మార్కులను నమోదు చేస్తారు.

పరీక్షలపై తొలగిన ప్రతిష్టంభన

సెప్టెంబరు 9 నుంచి 30 వరకు నిర్వహణ

జేఎన్ టీయూ పరిధిలోని తుది సంవత్సరం విద్యార్థులకు పరీక్షల నిర్వహణపై ప్రతిష్టంభన తొలగింది. సెప్టెంబరు 9 నుంచి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించాలని వర్సిటీ ఉన్నత యంత్రాంగం నిర్ణయించింది. ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన విధి విధానాలను సోమవారం వర్సిటీ వెబ్ సైట్లో పొందుపరుస్తారు.

ఎక్కడైనా పరీక్షలు రాయొచ్చు

కొవిడ్-19 కారణంగా విద్యార్థులు ఎక్కడైనా పరీక్షలు రాసే వెసులుబాటు కల్పించారు. జేఎన్‌టీయూ పరిధిలో ఐదు జిల్లాల్లో విద్యార్థులు ఉన్నారు. ఎక్కడికక్కడ కళాశాలల్లో పరీక్షలు రాయడానికి అవకాశం కల్పించారు. ఈ విధానం వల్ల విద్యార్థులు వసతి గృహాల్లో ఉండాల్సిన అవసరం ఉండదు. దగ్గర ఉండే కేంద్రంలో పరీక్ష రాయవచ్చు. ఈమేరకు ఆన్ లైన్లో ప్రశ్నపత్రాన్ని పొందుపరుస్తారు.

బ్రాంచిల వారీగా..

జేఎన్‌టీయూ పరిధిలో ప్రతి రోజు పలు బ్రాంచిలకు పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించే వారు. తాజాగా ఒకరోజు ఒక బ్రాంచికి మాత్రమే పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తారు. దీంతో ఎక్కువ మంది విద్యార్థులు సమూహంగా ఏర్పడే అవకాశం ఉండదు.

వేగంగా డిగ్రీ పట్టా అందజేత

వర్సిటీ పరిధిలో ఇంజినీరింగ్ తుది సంవత్సరంలో 18 వేలు, బీఫార్మసీ 2500, ఎంబీఏ, ఎంసీఏకు సంబంధించి 4500 మంది విద్యా ర్డులు ఉన్నారు. వారందరికీ పరీక్షలు పూర్తిచేస్తారు. పరీక్షలు ముగిసిన వెంటనే మూల్యాంకనం చేసి, వేగంగా డిగ్రీలు ఇచ్చేలా ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించారు. బ్యాక్ లాగ్ ఉన్న విద్యార్థులు, ప్రథమ, ద్వితీయ, తృతీయ సంవత్సరం విద్యార్థుల పరీక్షల పై పరిస్థితులను బట్టి నిర్ణయం తీసుకోనున్నారు. యూజీసీ మార్గదర్శకాలను అనుసరించి పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తామని ఉపకులపతి శ్రీనివాస్ కుమార్ తెలిపారు.

  • 1st Preference = Central Government employees Children.
  • 2nd Preference = Army and Ex-Army’s children.

Defense/central and state government job Holders – Priority Hierarchy

KVS Admission 2020 Detailed Eligibility Criteria for Class 1 to Class 11

Class 1st Admission

  • 15% Seats are reserved for SC Category.
  • 7.5% Seats are reserved for ST Category.
  • In the first phase of admission, 10 seats (Out of 40) to be filled as per RTE Provisions (25% of seats) and 10 seats will be filled from all applicants of SC / ST / EWS / BPL/ OBC Category.
  • In the Second Phase of admission, remaining seats are filled as per category wise.

Class 2 to Class 8 Admission

  • KVS authority is not conducting any admission test for admission in class II to Class VIII.
  • The admission process will be done on the basis of the Category System.
  • If the number of applicants are more then, the number of seats then the department will be followed the lottery system.

Admission in Class 9th

  • KVS Department will be organizing the Admission Test for admission in Class 9th. Candidates can get admission on the basis of merit. The merit list will be prepared category wise.
  • In admission test questions will be asked from various subjects like English, Hindi, Maths, Social Science and Science.
  • The duration of the admission test is 03 Hours.
  • Question Paper will be of 100 Marks and 20 Marks for each subject.
  • Candidates must score 33% marks to qualify the test while the SC / ST / Divyang category candidates have to secure a minimum of 25% Marks.

Class 11th Admission

  • Students will have to get the marks in their class X as mentioned below.
  • Humanities Stream- All students who have passed the class X examination
  • Science Stream- Students must have obtained at least 60% marks aggregate in all the subjects.
  • Commerce Stream- Students must have obtained a minimum 55% marks aggregate in all the subjects.

KVS admission 2020: Admission under MP quota

Under the MP quota, the member of Lok Sabhaand Rajya Sabha are given the special permission to recommend a certain number of students for admission.

  • The recommendation by the MPs will be made from class 1 up to class 11 only.
  • The admission will be granted only at the starting of the academic year. No admission will be given under the MP quota after the academic year has already started.
  • The students who are recommended must satisfy all the eligibility criteria.
  • The admission will be given beyond the strength of the class.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur expresses its greetings to all the Management members, Principal, Faculty members and students of this University. Stay safe and Healthy. This University in tune with UGC and AICTE has contemplated for conducting classwork and examinations for the students studying in Constituent, Autonomous and Affiliated institutions. Accordingly, the guidelines are given as follows.

1. Internal examinations for I, II and III year (II Mid exams)

  • Internal examination (II Mid exams) will be conducted along with End exams.
  • Students will be promoted to next year giving the credit exemptions for this year only.
  • Internal marks will be awarded for these years at later time, after conducting the II Mid exam.

2. Internal examination for the IV year students

Internal examination (II Mid) will be conducted along with End exams from September onwards based on the COVID-19 scenario. Internal marks will be awarded for these years at later time, after conducting the II Mid exam.

3. End examinations for I, II & III years

Examinations may be conducted at later time, when normalcy is restored. However, students may be promoted to the next corresponding years by giving exemptions to the credits as on the date of promotion.

4. End examinations for the IV year students

  • Final term and also Mid-term examinations will be conducted in the month of September onwards.
  • No jumbling system and students can opt for nearby places near to their residents to write examinations.
  • Examinations for different disciplines will be given different dates All affiliated institutions and autonomous institutions will take care of conducting the examinations as per the precautionary steps given by JNTUA and UGC.

5. Viva voce Examinations for B.Tech / M.Tech / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.B.A / M.C.A & Ph.D. & Comprehensive Viva voce

Viva Voce will be conducted online with necessary recording facility by the concerned institutions as per the norms of the University (Item 8.3 (b)).

6. Backlog subjects

  • The students of the terminal semester having backlogs will be examined as per the norms of the University from the month of September onwards. No credit exemptions for the terminal semester students.
  • However, students having backlogs for I, 11 & III years will be conducted when normalcy is restored.

7. Commencement of classwork

As per AICTE guidelines online classes will be commenced for existing students from 17-08-2020 onwards.

8. Attendance for theory classes

Attendance for online classes as per the UGC guidelines will be added to offline attendance.

9. Attendance for the laboratory classes

Cumulative attendance will be considered based on number of practical classes attended before lockdown.

This University in tune with UGC and AICTE has contemplated for conducting classwork and examinations for the students studying in Constituent, Autonomous and Affiliated institutions. Accordingly, the guidelines are given as follows.

Registrations of the students attending final Year Regular examinations should be as per norms of the University. Registration for backlog subjects of final Year students will be informed at the earliest.

The above guidelines are given in view of COVID-19 crisis. However, these guidelines are applicable only for this academic year only. Any changes will be communicated to you through JNTUA Web portal. This University should conduct all examinations by taking all safe and precautionary steps. The guidelines given by this University and UGC as well are enclosed to follow strictly.

The examination scheduled will be given such that not more than 2 or 3 branches of Engineering students to write the final Semester examinations. Precautionary steps to be taken to maintain the social distance. All class rooms should be sanitized.

Final semester students near to any of the place may opt for writing the end semester and mid semester examinations. Thereby, the mid examination question papers should be communicated to the colleges, where students are writing the examinations.

All other precautionary steps as enclosed in the Annexure have to be strictly followed. All transport facilities with necessary sanitization may be given to avoid the corona problem. All hostels should be sanitized and necessary precautionary steps to be taken for food preparations. Each room may be given to only one student. Students nearby to opted places to write the examination need not be given any hostel rooms.

Guidelines for opening of the constituent and affiliated colleges and conduct of examinations

  1. Before commencement of the classwork or the examinations, all the buildings of the colleges as well as the hostels (if any) are to be sanitized and disinfected.
  2. All the students and staff members must wear masks while they are in the campus.
  3. Sanitizers are to be provided at the entrance of the campus/building and the security on-duty must ensure that every staf member/student cleans their hand with the liquid sanitizers. The security f
    should allow those, who only wear masks.
  4. Social distancing should be maintained at every place viz. inside the classrooms, laboratories, examination halls and places of common amenities like canteen, mess etc.,
  5. Thermal scanning has to be carried out at the place of entry into the campus to all students and the staff.
  6. Appropriate measures need to be taken to maintain sufficient distancing while operating the college buses.
  7. All the class rooms where the classes and examinations are conducted, the laboratories and college buses are to be sanitized on regular basis.
  8. If any student falls sick, he/she should be kept in isolated place; proper care and appropriate first aid treatment must be rendered. The case shall be reported to appropriate authorities.
  9. No meetings or gatherings of any sort are to be conducted in the colleges.
  10. All the examinations will be conducted as per the instructions of the state Govt Higher Education Dept., as and when received
  11. Any provisions which are stored in the college attached hostels shall get inspected and certified by the Food Inspector before usage and starting of the messes.
  12. Any suspected corona case (after thermal scanning and other symptoms) should be brought to the notice of the Principal of the college. Such persons should undergo for blood test, corona test etc., The same shall be reported to the appropriate authorities.
  13. The universities should strengthen the mechanism of mentor – mentee through dedicated portal on university website to impact timely guidance and counselling to the students. Besides, faculty advisor and supervisor assigned to each student should maintain regular communication with the students.
  14. All hostel workers must wear the face masks and maintain the physical distance while working. They should frequently sanitize their hands.
  15. All hostel workers, Institution staff and faculty should maintain hygienic environment in the hostels, class rooms, library, laboratories and examination halls regularly by cleaning them with disinfectants.
  16. University is contemplating the conduct the final year project work viva-voce through online. Hence, necessary recording of the entire viva-voce process and record of all marks sheets, viva­voce reports certified by the internal & external examine etc., as per the university norms, should be maintained by the concerned departments.
  17. Subjective type Examinations as per the University norms shall be conducted in the respective institutions (without jumbling). Thereby, all the CC cameras in the examination halls must be in working condition and the recordings must be made available. The video recordings must be sent to University.
  18. In each class rooms 24 students are allowed to write the examination
  19. Purified water only must be supplied to the students during the examinations.
  20. Initially only final year regular examinations will be conducted. Any backlogs examinations will be conducted at a later date. (As per Govt decision).
  21. All the answer scripts must be handed over to the examination centres carefully by the respective insJitution by taking all necessary precautionary steps.
  22. In order to avoid the crowd in conducting the examinations, the examinations for only final year students belonging to two disciplines should be conducted in each spell.
  23. Examination results will be announced at the earliest by this University and certificates will be given at the earliest.
  24. All Autonomous institutes, Constituent colleges and affiliated institutes have to follow the same examination pattern as followed in earlier academic years, without any deviation.
  25. Students, who are staying within the town/place, may be given local transport facility following all precautionary steps to avoid any infections due to corona. The necessary permissions, if any required·should be taken from the District Collector. The institute may please do needful in this regard.

Examinations are an integral part of the education system and is a measure students’ learning, knowledge, skills and other competencies. The performance in examinations contributes to merit, lifelong credibility, wider global acceptability for admissions, scholarships, awards, placements, and better future prospects.

A large number of best universities across the world including US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries, have conducted or are conducting examinations by giving various options such as Online/Offline/Blended or other alternative forms of examinations.

In order to safeguard the larger interest of the students related to their academic and career progression globally, the UGC issued Guidelines on Examinations and Academic Calendar on 29th April,2020 mentioning that for the students of Terminal Semester(s)/ Final Year Examinations may be conducted between July 1-15, 2020.

In view of emerging COVID-19 pandemic situation it was difficult to conduct the examinations in the month of July, 2020, therefore, as per the directions of Ministry of Home, Ministry of Human Resources Development, and the report of the Expert Committee, UGC issued Revised Guidelines for Examination and Academic Calendar on 6th July, 2020.

Accordingly, the Universities were required to chart out a plan for completion of terminal semester/ final year examinations by the end of September, 2020 in offline (pen & paper)/ online/ blended (online + offline) mode following the prescribed protocols / guidelines related to COVID-19 pandemic. The guidelines also mentioned that in case a student of terminal semester/ final year is unable to appear in the examination conducted by the University for whatsoever the reason(s) may be, he/she may be given opportunity to appear in special examinations for such course(s)/ paper(s), which may be conducted by the university as and when feasible, so that the student is not put to any inconvenience/ disadvantage. UGC vide its letter of 8th July, 2020 also communicated the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Conduct of Examinations as suggested by MHRD.

Recently universities were approached to inform the status of the conduct of examination. Out of 945 Universities (as per the list maintained by UGC till 01-06-2020) the responses were obtained from 755 Universities (120 Deemed Universities, 274 Private Universities, 40 Central Universities and 321 State Universities). The information from remaining Universities is being obtained.

Out of the 755 Universities, 560 Universities have either conducted the examination or are planning to conduct. Details are as follows:

(i) 194 have already conducted examination (on-line/off-line);

(ii) 366 are planning to conduct examination (on-line/off-line/blended mode) in August/September

In addition, 27 Private Universities, which were established during 2019-20 to till date, their first batch is yet to become eligible for final examination.

The admission criteria for Indian Institutes of Technology, or IITs, have been relaxed. The Union Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced on Twitter that apart from qualifying the Joint Entrance Examination, or JEE, Advanced, students will no longer need to score a minimum of 75% in their school board exams to be eligible. Earlier, only students who scored a minimum 75 per cent marks in the Class 12 board exams or ranked in the top 20 percentile in their qualifying examinations were eligible. However, the cancellation of several board papers due to the COVID-19 outbreak and students securing lesser marks, the Joint Admission Board, or JAB, has relaxed this criterion of 75 per cent marks.

Due to the partial cancellation of class XII exams by several Boards, Joint Admission Board (JAB) has decided to relax the eligibility criterion for #JEE (Advanced) 2020 qualified candidates this time.

Qualified candidates who have passed class XII examinations will now be eligible for admissions irrespective of marks obtained.

For admissions to IITs, apart from qualifying the JEE (Advanced), the eligibility was to secure either minimum score of 75% marks in class XII Board exams or rank among the top 20 percentile in their qualifying examinations.

The SSED planning to adopt the CBSE workbook model to give the worksheets to the students and other assessment activities. This will help the students to improve their understanding skills.  

“State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has already prepared video lessons covering different subjects of all the classes. It is planned to be telecasted the same through the DD Saptagiri. Also, few more video lessons could also be prepared with the teachers as and when required,” he added.

Further plans were in progress for interaction of teacher and students. As of now, the workbook pattern will be followed for homework and other tasks.

For the interaction, students and teachers need to use the mobiles. Students can reach the teachers through Whatsapp for doubts and other issues. Students will be guided by the teachers through Whatsapp.

APPSC Departmental Test Notification 2020: Applications are invited ON-LINE from 08/07/2020 to 27/07/2020 for the Departmental Tests MAY, 2020 Session to be held from 25/08/2020 to 28/08/2020 and 31/08/2020 to 01/09/2020.

Applicants primarily shall register the One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) through the Commission’s Website viz., https://psc.ap.gov.in. Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the Tests using the OTPR User ID through Commission’s website. The applicants, who had already generated OTPR earlier for last Departmental Tests, shall apply directly making use of the same number.

The application will be available on Commission’s website (https://psc.ap.gov.in) from 08-07- 2020. The last date for submission of online application is 27/07/2020 (26/07/2020 is the last date for payment of fee up to 11:59 PM) Hand written / Typed / Photostat copies / Printed Application Form will not be entertained either directly or by post or in person. The terms and conditions are detailed hereunder following Departmental Tests Rules, 1965 and subsequent amendments to these Rules from time to time.

1. SCHEME OF THE EXAMINATION:

(a) All the Tests, except Language and Survey Tests will be in Objective Type in terms of G.O.Ms.No.602, G.A. (Ser-C) Department, dated. 01.11.2011.

(b) The Language Test papers (P.C.Nos.5, 6, 7, 19, 28, 36,49, 67,37, 58, 74) and Survey & Settlement papers (P.C.Nos.69, 87, 109, 110, 111, 112, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, 133, 134 and 135) will be of conventional mode.

(c) All the objective type papers will be held on Computer Based Departmental Tests. Instructions regarding this Computer Based Test are detailed in the Instructions Manual at Annexure – I.

(d) The candidates appearing for Objective Type papers may use Mock Test facility available on Commission’s Website, to acquaint with the Computer Based Tests.

(e) The candidates appearing for Conventional Papers (Descriptive Exams) will be supplied with OMR sheet attached Answer Books to be answered with Blue or Black Pen. (f) Schedule of test timings as per G.O.Ms.No.55 General Administration (Ser-C) Dept., dt.02/05/2017 is as under.

2. (A) TIMETABLE:

A candidate desirous to appear for more than one Test may apply for the Tests to the extent the Time-table at Annexure-II permits.

2. (B) SYLLABUS:

The list of books allowed for each Test along with syllabus is available on the Commission’s Website.

The qualifying marks for each Test/Paper are shown at Annexure-III. The syllabus for Paper Codes 92 and 102 of Departmental Tests for Commercial Taxes has been revised as suggested by the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes and hosted on website separately.

3. EXAMINATION CENTRES:

(i) All the Departmental Tests will be conducted at all the 13 Districts.

(ii) The candidates shall be admitted at the respective District Centre only, where the candidate is presently working as mentioned in the application.

FEE & PAYMENT PROCEDURE:

i) The fee for each Paper is Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) as per G.O.Ms.No.121,G.A(Ser-C) Department, Dt.17.09.2019. However, no fee is prescribed for the Tests in Gujarathi and Marwari Languages.

ii) The applicant shall pay Rs. 500/-(Rupees Five Hundred Only) towards application processing fee, besides the examination fee.

HOW TO APPLY:

The Applicants shall read the Instructions Manual at Annexure-I and go through the User Guide on Website before submission of Applications online.

STEP-I: Candidates applying for the first time for any notification has to first fill the OTPR application carefully to obtain OTPR ID. While filling the OTPR, the candidates have to ensure that there are no mistakes done. The Commission bears no responsibility for the mistakes, if any, made by the candidates. (If candidates already have OTPR ID number then he/she can proceed to STEP-II.)

STEP-II: The Applicant has to Login in the Commission’s website with the User Name (OTPR ID) and the Password set by Candidate. After Login, the Applicant has to click on the “Online Application Submission” present in the bottom right corner of the Commission’s website. PAYMENT PROCESS: The Applicant now has to click on the payment link against the Notification No.03/2020. The Basic details required for calculation of the Fee will be prepopulated from the OTPR data. The Applicant has to verify all the details that were displayed. Once the Payment form is submitted, the respective details (Used for Calculation of fee) will not be altered in any stage of application processing. Hence if any details are to be changed, applicant should use the Modify OTPR link, modify the details, save it and again click on application payment link.

STEP-III: After checking all the data and ensuring that the data is correct the applicant has to fill application specific data. Once all the data is filled appropriately, the applicant has to submit the payment form. On successful submission, the payment reference ID is generated and is displayed on the screen. By clicking “OK” the Applicant is shown the various payment options where he/she can select any one among them and complete the payment process as given on the screen.

STEP-IV: Once the payment is successful, payment reference ID is generated. Candidates can note the payment reference ID for future correspondence. Thereafter the applicant is directed to the application form. Applicant should provide the payment reference ID generated along with the other details required for filling the application form (other fields like OTPR ID and personal details will be prepopulated from the data submitted in the payment form for respective notification). The Applicant should check the data displayed thoroughly and should fill the application specific fields like paper code details, examination centre etc., carefully and submit the Application form. Once the Application is submitted successfully then Application Receipt is generated. The Applicant is requested to print and save the application receipt for future reference/correspondence.

STEP-V: In any case if the payment process is not submitted successfully, then the applicant should start the fresh payment process as mentioned in STEP-II.

STEP-VI: Once the application is submitted successfully, correction in application form will be enabled. The corrections can be made in the application form itself for paper code only. Fields which affect the Name, personal details and fee are not enabled for corrections.
