PM Garib Kalyan Yojana Online Application 2020: Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for the Indian Nationals. The PMGKY Scheme Beneficiary List will be available at the official website, pib.nic.in.

The Government has announced various schemes under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana for the poor people. Rs 1.7 lakh cr package has been allotted by the Home Ministry of India for PMGKY Yojana.

PMGKY Yojana offers various schemes such as,

  • PM Kisan Yojana) for Farmers (2000/- Send in April First Week)
  • Ration Card Holders (80 Crore People) – 5 KG Ration Free of Cost.
  • Ujjawala Yojana – Gas Cylinder Free of Cost for the Next 3 Months.

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana Beneficiary List 2020

The Finance Minister of India Nirmala Sitharaman has declared the scheme to offer the relief package for the poor. Under this scheme, the cash will be transferred for poor for food security. This package was announced during the lockdown. The beneficiaries list will be available at pib.nic.in.

The Union Finance & Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Niramla Sitharaman today announced Rs 1.70 Lakh Crore relief package under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana for the poor to help them fight the battle against Corona Virus. While addressing the press conference here today, Smt. Sitharaman said “Today’s measures are intended at reaching out to the poorest of the poor, with food and money in hands, so that they do not face difficulties in buying essential supplies and meeting essential needs.”

The Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs Shri Anurag Singh Thakur was also present besides Shri Atanu Chakraborty, Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs and Shri Debashish Panda, Secretary, Department of Financial Services. Following are the components of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package:

PRADHAN MANTRI GARIB KALYAN PACKAGE

I. Insurance scheme for health workers fighting COVID-19 in Government Hospitals and Health Care Centres

  • Safai karamcharis, ward-boys, nurses, ASHA workers, paramedics, technicians, doctors and specialists and other health workers would be covered by a Special insurance Scheme.
  • Any health professional, who while treating Covid-19 patients, meet with some accident, then he/she would be compensated with an amount of Rs 50 lakh under the scheme.
  • All government health centres, wellness centres and hospitals of Centre as well as States would be covered under this scheme  approximately 22 lakh health workers would be provided insurance cover to fight this pandemic.

II. PM Garib Kalyan Ann (अन्न) Yojana

  • Government of India would not allow anybody, especially any poor family, to suffer on account of non-availability of foodgrains due to disruption in the next three months.
  • 80 crore individuals, i.e, roughly two-thirds of India’s population would be covered under this scheme.
  • Each one of them would be provided double of their current entitlement over next three months. 
  • This additionality would be free of cost.

Pulses:

  • To ensure adequate availability of protein to all the above mentioned individuals, 1 kg per family, would be provided pulses according to regional preferences for next three months.
  • These pulses would be provided free of cost by the Government of India.

III. Under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana,

Benefit to farmers:

  • The first instalment of Rs 2,000 due in 2020-21 will be front-loaded and paid in April 2020 itself under the PM KISAN Yojana.
  • It would cover 8.7 crore farmers

IV. Cash transfers Under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana:

Help to Poor:

  • A total of 20.40 crores PMJDY women account-holders would be given an ex-gratia of Rs 500 per month for next three months.

Gas cylinders:

  • Under PM Garib Kalyan Yojanagas cylindersfree of cost, would be provided to 8 crore poor families for the next three months.

Help to low wage earners in organised sectors:

  • Wage-earners below Rs 15,000 per month in businesses having less than 100 workers are at risk of losing their employment.
  • Under this package, government proposes to pay 24 percent of their monthly wages into their PF accounts for next three months.
  • This would prevent disruption in their employment.

Support for senior citizens (above 60 years), widows and Divyang:

  • There are around 3 crore aged widows and people in Divyang category who are vulnerable due to economic disruption caused by COVID-19.
  • Government will give them Rs 1,000 to tide over difficulties during next three months.

MNREGA

  • Under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, MNREGA wages would be increased by Rs 20 with effect from 1 April, 2020. Wage increase under MNREGA will provide an additional Rs 2,000 benefit annually to a worker.
  • This will benefit approximately 13.62 crore families.

V. Self-Help groups:

  • Women organised through 63 lakhs Self Help Groups (SHGs) support 6.85 crore households.
  1. Limit of collateral free lending would be increased from Rs 10 to Rs 20 lakhs.

VI. Other components of PM Garib Kalyan package

Organised sector:

  • Employees’ Provident Fund Regulations will be amended to include Pandemic as the reason to allow non-refundable advance of 75 percent of the amount or three months of the wages, whichever is lower, from their accounts.
  • Families of four crore workers registered under EPF can take benefit of this window.

Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Fund:

  • Welfare Fund for Building and Other Constructions Workers has been created under a Central Government Act.
  • There are around 3.5 Crore registered workers in the Fund.
  • State Governments will be given directions to utilise this fund to provide assistance and support to these workers to protect them against economic disruptions.

District Mineral Fund

  • The State Government will be asked to utilise the funds available under District Mineral Fund (DMF) for supplementing and augmenting facilities of medical testing, screening and other requirements in connection with preventing the spread of CVID-19 pandemic as well as treating the patients affected with this pandemic.

For Ration Card Holders (80 Crore People) – 5 KG Ration Free of Cost

White ration card holders will get 5 KG Ration (Wheat & Rice) by the state government. The rice and wheat will be distributed for 80 cr people state-wide. The people will be given the food products free of cost for 3 months of time.

Corona Warriors (Doctors, Nurse, Staff) – 50 Lakh Insurance

The Home Ministry of India has announced an insurance scheme for all Doctors, Nurse, and other Staff members, who are involved with treating Corona. The Government will offer the 50 Lakh Insurance all medical staff who offer services to fight with this virus (COVID – 19).

Farmers (Who Registered in PM Kisan Yojana) – 2000/- (Send in April First Week)

The registered farmers will get Rs. 2000 (Next due of installment of PM Kisan Yojana) in the First week of April 2020 under PM Kisan Yojana. Under PM Kisan Yojana, 8.69 Crore Farmers will get benefited.

Widow / Poor Citizens / Disabled Pensioner / Senior Citizens – Rs.  1000/- (For Next Three Months)

The Central Govt. will offer extra benefits to Poor Citizens / Widow / Disabled Pensioner / Senior Citizens; a sum of Rs. 1000/- will be offered for the next three months so that they will not face any problems during this lockdown. The amount will be credited to the beneficiaries account by the Government in 2 installment.

Jan Dhan Yojana Beneficiary –  Rs. 500/- For Next Three Months

Jan Dhan Yojana offers the benefits of Rs 500/- for the next 3 months for more than 20 cr women across the nation. The amount will be paid through 2 installments.

EPF – The government will be paid 24% (12%+12%) for Next Three Months

Finance Ministry of India to pay the EPF of Employee and Employer (If less than 100 employees in their company) for the employees with monthly income less than Rs 15,000 per month. The Govt. will pay 24% (12%+12%) for Next Three Months.

Ujjawala Yojana – Gas Cylinder Free of Cost for the Next 3 Months

The Ujjawala Yojana scheme offers free gas cylinder for free of cost for next 3 months.

SHGs Workers –  Extra 10 Lakh Collateral Loan

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the benefits of Rs 63 lakh for SHG workers. The workers will get extra benefits of Rs 10 lakh collateral loan. The SHG Worker’s scheme will offer the benefits for 7 cr families under national rural livelihood. The collateral loan amount has been increased to Rs 20 lakh from Rs 10 lakh.

Construction Worker –  31000 Crore Funds Release

The welfare of Building and other construction workers (BOCW) has released the  31000 Crore Funds for Construction Worker.  Approximately, 3.5 Crore Construction workers will be benefited from this scheme.

In continuation of the University Circular (2) cited and the G.Os vide ref (1) and (3) cited, the Government of Telangana have issued orders and continuation orders issued there to, that were given effect upto 31.03.2020, is extended upto 30th April 2020.

Under the circumstances stated above, the Vice-Chancellor has issued following orders to prevent for spreading of COVID-19 Virus in the State of Telangana:

i. All the Principals of the Constituent/Affiliated Colleges (Autonomous and Non-Autonomous) and Directors of all the Units are requested to close their respective Units till 30th April 2020.​

In of this Office circular under ref. (3) above, declaring holiday’s upto 31-03-2020 and incompliance of the GO. cited in the reference (l) Of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. I am by direction, informing that JNTUA shall remain closed for a period of 21 days with affect from 25-03-2020. As it has already been announced holidays till 31-03-2020 in compliance to G.O. cited in (2), now they are extended till 14-04-2020, to lockdown the campus and its affiliated colleges and its constituent colleges.

I am by direction, informing that Andhra University shall remain closed tor a period of 21 days with effect from 25.03.2020. కరోనా వైరస్‌ వ్యాప్తి నేపథ్యంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ప్రభుత్వం మరో కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. 6 నుంచి 9వ తరగతి విద్యార్థులు పరీక్షలు రాయకుండానే పై తరగతులకు వెళ్లేలా అవకాశం కల్పించింది. ఈ మేరకు రాష్ట్ర విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి ఆదిమూలపు సురేష్‌ గురువారం మీడియా సమావేశంలో ప్రకటించారు. రాష్ట్రంలో కరోనా వ్యాప్తి నేపథ్యంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్‌ జగన్‌మోహన్‌రెడ్డి ఆదేశాల మేరకు ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు మంత్రి వెల్లడించారు.

ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితుల్లో పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించడం శ్రేయస్కరం కాదని, అది విద్యార్థులకు, అధికారులకు కూడా మంచిది కాదని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. (రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలను ఉద్దేశించి మాట్లాడనున్న సీఎం జగన్‌) అలాగే పదో తరగతి పరీక్షలను ఇప్పటికే వాయిదా వేసిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈనెల 31న జరిగే సమీక్ష తరువాత పదోతరగతి పరీక్షలు షెడ్యూల్‌ను విడుదల చేస్తామని మంత్రి ప్రకటించారు.

దీనిపై విద్యార్థులు ఎలాంటి ఆందోళనలకు గురికావద్దని సూచించారు. కాగా కరోనా వైరస్‌ రిత్యా పాఠశాలలు మూతపడి ఉన్నందున పిల్లకు నేరుగా వారి ఇళ్లకే మధ్యాహ్న భోజనం అందించాలని విద్యాశాఖ అధికారులు నిర్ణయించారు. వాలంటీర్ల ద్వారం విద్యార్థులకు మధ్యాహ్యా భోజనాన్ని అందించనున్నారు. అంతకుముందు విద్యాశాఖ అధికారులతో సీఎం జగన్‌ సమీక్షా సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. భోజన పంపిణీ సమయంలో పూర్తి జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని సీఎం జగన్‌ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. మధ్యాహ్న భోజనం అన్ని చోట్లా ఒకే క్వాలిటీ మెయింటైన్‌ చేయాలని, అలాగే గోరుముద్ద అనే కార్యక్రమాన్ని పకడ్బందీగా అమలు చేయాలని సూచించారు. ఈ పథకాన్ని మరింత బలోపేతం చేయడానికి పూర్తి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
