Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme Payment Status Check, Final Eligible list, Card Issue dates: Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme 2020 (జగనన్న వసతి దీవెన) will provide a maintenance support of Rs 20,000 per year to each student. While financial assistance is provided till Intermediate under the Amma Vodi scheme, Vasathi Deevena will take care of the hostel and mess charges of ITI, polytechnic, degree and PG students. The Education Department will give Rs 10,000 for ITI students, Rs 15,000 for polytechnic students and Rs 20,000 for degree students every year under the Jagananna Vasathi Deevena scheme in two equal installments — in February and July. The objective of the scheme is to help the mothers/guardians financially so that they continue to send their children for higher education without any difficulty.

Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Card Release Date, Amount Release Date: Jagananna Vidya Vasathi Scheme was implemented by Andhra Pradesh State Government to empower education. Under this scheme, the students will receive financial aid of Rs 20,000. This scheme was introduced by AP State Government to facilitate the Fee Reimbursement for B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, MBA, MCA, and B.Ed courses. Government after careful examination of the matter and in partial modification of the instructions/guidelines issued earlier, hereby formulate the two new schemes viz. (i) “Jagananna Vidya Deevena (RTF)”, and (ii) “Jagananna Vasathi Deevena (MTF)” to implement for all the students belonging to SC,ST, BC, EBC (other than Kapu), Kapu, Minority and Differently Abled categories who are pursuing the post metric courses from ITI to Ph.D except Intermediate, through their respective agencies, with the following guidelines.
Schemes:
(a) Jagananna Vidya Deevena (RTF): to provide complete fee reimbursement to every eligible student.
(b) Jagananna Vasathi Deevena (MTF) : to provide Rs.10,000/- per person to ITI students, Rs.15,000/- per person to Polytechnic students, Rs.20,000/- per person for other Degree and above courses per year to every eligible student for food and hostel expenses.
Date of Applicability of the schemes:
The schemes “Jagananna Vidya Deevena(RTF)” and “Jagananna Vasathi Deevena(MTF)” shall be applicable from the Financial year 2019-20.
Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme – Eligibility Criteria and Complete Details
Beneficiaries of the Schemes:
(a) Eligible Students: The students under the following categories are eligible for availing the Schemes.
i. All the students, pursuing Polytechnic, ITI and Degree & above level courses in Government/Aided/Private colleges, affiliated to State Universities / Boards.
ii. Day scholar students, students in College Attached Hostels (CAH) and Department Attached Hostels (DAH).
iii. 75% of the aggregate attendance is mandatory for release of scholarships.
(b) In – eligible Students: The students under the following categories are not eligible for availing the Schemes.
i. Studying in Private Universities / Deemed Universities.
ii. Pursuing Correspondence / Distance education courses.
iii. Admitted under Management / Spot Quota.
Income Eligibility:
i. The total family annual income to be less than or equal to Rs.2.50 lakhs.
ii. The total land holding of the family to be less than 10.00 acres of wet or 25.00 acres of dry or 25.00 acres both wet and dry land together.
iii. No member of the family should be a government employee/ pensioner (all sanitary workers irrespective of their salary/ recruitment, are eligible. The Social Welfare Department shall develop a robust & fool-proof system of certification of parents of the beneficiaries under category of “Sanitary workers”).
iv. No member of the family should own a four-wheeler (Taxies/Tractors/Autos are exempted).
v. A family who owns no property or less than 1500 Sft of built up area (Residential or Commercial) in urban areas is eligible.
vi. No member of the family should be an income tax payee.
Mode of Disbursement:
(a) Jagananna Vidya Deevena shall be credited to the respective College accounts on behalf of students.
(b) Jagananna Vasathi Deevena:
i. Jagananna Vasathi Deevena shall be credited into the respective account of the mother of the eligible student.
ii. In case of the demise or absence of the mother, the amount shall be credited to the account of the natural guardian of the student.

The AP Government has recently announced the Amma Vodi Scheme for the students up to Intermediate. Under Amma Vodi Scheme Poor Children of Private / Government Schools are going to get Rs 15,000 per year. This scheme is going to be implemented from January 9th, 2020 onwards.
While, The Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme is for students pursuing Polytechnic, Degree, Engineering, and other PG Courses. The J. N. Tata Endowment awards a one-time loan scholarship to Indian nationals at the beginning of their academic year for full time Postgraduate/ Ph.D./ Postdoctoral studies/Research Fellowshipsabroad, in all fields, irrespective of caste, creed, gender or community. The amount to be awarded to each scholar by way of loan scholarship is determined on the basis of the norms laid down for the purpose, and does not cover the full cost of studies. The amount awarded as the loan scholarship ranges between Rs.1,00,000/- and Rs.10,00,000/-. All selected scholars do not necessarily qualify for the maximum amount.
The selected scholars may also be recommended for a gift scholarship based on their overseas academic performance and partial travel assistance from our allied Trusts as may be decided at the sole discretion of the Trustees of the concerned Trusts. A gift scholarship can be for a maximum amount of Rs.7,50,000/- and the partial travel grant can be a maximum of Rs.50,000/-.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be Indian nationals who are graduates of a recognised Indian University and have secured at least 60% in their last academic examination.
Candidates who are at the beginning of the second year of their overseas studies (fall 2020 – spring 2021) are also eligible to apply. This is applicable only of the minimum duration of course is 2 years.
Candidates in the final year of the degree course and those awaiting results are eligible to apply.
Scholars who have already awarded the J N Tata Endowment loan scholarship cannot apply again for the same course.
Candidates may apply even if they do not have the admission/offer letters at the time of making the application, from the Universities to which they have applied for the academic year 2020-2021.However they must update their applications status with the Endowment once they secure admission. Candidates not older than 45 years as on 30th June, 2020, with a good academic record and experience in their fields, specialisation or training may also apply. Candidates going overseasfor seminars, conferences and undergraduate studies are not eligible for theJ. N. Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship.
Selection for the Awards

Apart from consistent academic performance, we give importance to participation in both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
A good GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS score is extremely important for those applying overseas. If you have received a low GRE score, it may be advisable to improve upon it, to increase your chances of receiving the loan scholarship.
The statement of purpose carries considerable weight in the selection process. We have provided some guidance on our web site on how you can construct a good statement of purpose. Please ensure that your statement of purpose is written by you and free from plagiarism.
After the initial screening of applications, candidates are shortlisted to undergo an online test which will be based on the lines of Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA), on Sunday, 12th April, 2020. Timing and other details will be informed accordingly. Candidates shortlisted based on the online test will be called for an interview. Such candidates should upload scanned copies of the required documents on the application form portal in the upload documents section, before the time of the interview.
The Interview
Candidates should note that to be shortlisted for an interview is no guarantee of receiving the loan scholarship.
The technical interview, conducted in person at Mumbai or through skype by the Director of the Endowment and a subject expert, from April onwards, carries the most weight in the selection process. ‘Technical’ refers to evaluation of candidates’ understanding of their subjects – current and future.
Candidates should come prepared with knowledge of their subjects and chosen areas of interest with any specialisation, as shown in their application for admission, as they will be examined in depth and detail. Greater weight will be given to depth of understanding of the chosen area of study and career path.
Candidates in the beginning of the 2nd year would be assessed also on their first year/semester of the overseas studies.
The final selection of scholars’ for the award of the loan scholarship is based on the following criteria:
(1) Performance at the interview; (2) Score at the online test (3) Score based on academic results, GRE/GMAT/IELTS/TOEFL scores, Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, research work, statement of purpose, and work experience.
All the Awards will be announced together latest by the first week of July by mail. The Trustees’ decision on the award of scholarships is final. Correspondence in this regard will not be entertained.
Formalities to be completed
The candidate and the guarantor (preferably a parent or a relative having the capacity to repay the loan) will have to visit the Administrative Office of the Endowment, by prior appointment, to complete the necessary formalities, after obtaining the visa.
They will be required to enter into a legal agreement with the Trustees and provide documentary evidence of the capacity of the guarantor to repay the loan.
Candidates must repay the loan scholarship in five equal instalments of 20% between third and seventh year. Candidates must begin to repay earlier than year three if they have started earning.

BRAOU ET 2020 Apply Online Last Date

The is a Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is an all India Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. BITS Pilani is India’s highest ranked non-Govt. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus for the academic year 2020-21 will be made on the basis of a Computer based Online Test conducted by BITS, Pilani. This test will be referred to as ‘BITS Admission Test – 2020’, in short as BITSAT-2020 hereafter in this document.
‘Computer Based Online test’ means the candidate sits in front of a computer and the questions are presented on the computer monitor and the candidate answers the questions on the computer through the use of keyboard or mouse. Each computer is connected to a server, which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer. This is unlike the traditional paper-pencil based test, which is generally offered on a single day to all candidates. BITSAT-2020 will be offered over a period of time and the candidate can choose the Center, the Day and Time of his/her convenience to take the test, as described in the later sections.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(i) For admission to any of the First Degree programmes of BITS except B.Pharm.: Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English.
(ii) For admission to B.Pharm.: Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and adequate proficiency in English. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program.
Admission to all the programmes is subject to the conditions given below:
1. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.
2. Only Students who are appearing for 12th class examination in 2020 or who have passed 12th class Examination in 2018 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2020 test. If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed. Students who have passed 12th examination in 2017 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2020. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2020.
3. Admissions will be made purely on merit. The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT-2020. However, their eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in 12th examination, as mentioned above.
1. Interested candidates should register their names for BITSAT-2020 by applying in the prescribed application form online. The password that a candidate enters (8 alphanumeric characters) during BITSAT registration process will be required for further accesses including writing the BITSAT.
2. Hence, a candidate should keep it confidential.
3. A candidate has to complete the application form online at http://www.bitsadmission.com and pay the prescribed fees.
4. Also take the printout of the filled-in form for your future reference.
4. The prescribed fee for BITSAT-2020 is Rs. 3150/- (three thousand one hundred fifty) for male candidates and Rs. 2650/- (two thousand six hundred fifty) for female candidates.
5. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
6. If a candidate chooses Dubai as a test center the application fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be US $80 (Rs.5600). Details for payment of fees are available at the admission website while applying online.
