Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education was established on 14th October 1957. The DTE Tamil Nadu offers various technical courses for the students. In the state of Tamil Nadu, there are 518 polytechnic/Diploma colleges working under the board. The Department of Technical Education Tamil Nadu follows the semester system in conducting the examinations. Annually, the DTE conducts the even semester examinations [2nd, 4th, and 6th sem] in April/May months and releasing the results in June. And the Odd semester [1st, 3rd, 5th sem] examinations will be held in September/November months and the result will be declared in December. Download TNDTE Diploma Odd Semester Hall Ticket 2019 @ tndte.gov.in

Hall Tickets are being sent to all those who had registered themselves for the examination by paying the prescribed examination fee within the prescribed time limit. Before issuing the hall tickets to the candidates, the Principal of the institution should verify the eligibility of the candidates to appear for the examination. The hall tickets shall not be issued to candidates who do not have the minimum required attendance in the current semester. The Principal / Chief Superintendent should attest the signature of the candidate on the hall ticket and check the photo embossed on it while issuing the same to him / her. If there is no photo in the space provided, a pass port size photo of the candidate has to be affixed and attested by the Principal.

No candidate will be permitted to write the examination without a valid hall ticket.

If a candidate had lost the hall ticket issued to him, on request, he / she may be issued with a duplicate hall ticket by the Chief Superintendent on payment of a fee of Rs.25/-. A passport size photo of the candidate has to be affixed on the hall ticket & the photo and signature of candidate have to be attested by the External Additional Chief Superintendent of the Centre, before it is being issued.

Aspirants pursuing Diploma from TNDTE can get ready for the odd semester examinations [1st, 3rd, and 5th semester].  The theory examinations will be conducted from 22nd October onwards. Google introduced the ‘Doodle for Google’ contest for class 1 to class 10 students. This is the annual contest conducted by the Google. The winning Doodle will be displayed on Google India Homepage. Doodle for Google contest will be ended on 30th September 2019. Students can submit their Doodles Online/Offline.

Doodle for Google Contest Theme of the year, ‘WHEN I GROW UP, I HOPE…’

Interested students can submit the Doodle and also have to write a few lines describing about their drawing. The Doodle should represent something they hope for.

Students in Class 1-10 are invited to take part in the 2019 Doodle for Google contest, and create an uplifting doodle that tells the world “When I grow up I hope …” From crayons to clay, graphic design, or even food, young artists can utilize any materials to bring their creation to life. Like all Google Doodles, each doodle must incorporate the letters G-o-o-g-l-e. One national winner will receive an INR 500,000 college scholarship, an INR 200,000 technology package for their school/non-profit organization, and the winning doodle will be showcased on Google’s India Homepage on 14th November 2019. The contest is open for entries from August 1st – September 30th, 2019 – only 8 short weeks!

Representation of the contest theme, use of the letters in the Google logo, and the unique approach to the doodle

Doodles will be grouped and judged by the following 5 class groups:

Google for Doodle Selection Process

  • Google will select 4 doodles from each group as the national finalists.
  • These 20 finalists will be displayed in an online gallery on the Doodle for Google website.
  • The 20 national finalist doodles will be put up for public voting from October 21 to November 6, 2019.
  • Based on the votes received, one group finalist will be selected.

“A cumulative score based on public voting, scores by guest judges and panel of Google executives will choose one of the five group winners and announce the National Winner on 14th November 2019,” says the official Doodle for Google website.

1st Prize

The National Winner will receive an Rs. 500,000 college scholarship.  An Rs. 200,000 technology package for their school, a Certificate / Trophy of achievement, and a trip to Google Office.

2nd Prize

The doodles of the four Group Winners, who do not become the National Winner, will be featured on the Doodle for Google gallery. They will also receive a Rs. 250,000 college scholarship, an Rs. 100,000 technology package for their school, a Trophy/Medal of recognition, certificate of achievement, and a trip to Google Office in India.

Runner’s Up

The doodles of the national finalists will also be displayed in the Doodle for Google gallery. They will also receive a certificate of achievement. All winners will also receive any of the hardware products and Googley Schwag.
