TNPSC is going to release the Assistant Jailer admit card before 10 days of the examination (approximately). The TNPSC Assistant Jailer written test is scheduled to be held on 6^th January. SBTET AP C-16 & C-14 Schemes – Certain Clarification On Eligibility Rules

It is hereby informed that with reference to above, Eligibility rules/Certain Clarifications for the C-14/C-16 Scheme are given below:

1. A candidate who studied 4th Semester (not attended for 5th and 6th semesters) in C-14 scheme should be given readmission into 5th semester in C-16 scheme.

2. A candidate who detained in 4th semester in C-16 scheme should be given readmission into 4th Semester in C-16 scheme.

3. Always the industrial training in C-16 scheme is treated as 6th semester.

4. A candidate who have completed 1st year to V Semester in C-14 Scheme and not studied or detained in 6th Semester in C-14 scheme should be given readmission into C-16, 6th Semester (ie. Industrial Training only).

5. If a candidate appeared the regular 5th Semester examinations of C-16 scheme during October/November they will not be eligible to write the backlogs of 5th semester during immediate March/April examinations only. Ex: If a candidate appeared to the 5th Semester Oct/Nov-2018 examinations will not be eligible to write the backlogs of 5th Semester in March/April-2019.

6. If a candidate is eligible for 5th semester and not appeared for the examination will be eligible to attend the 6th semester industrial training.

7. If a candidate is not attended /detained due to shortage of attendance in the 6th semester industrial training, the candidate will be allowed for 5th semester and soon after the completion of 5th semester the candidate should complete the 6th semester industrial training in the subsequent year.

As per the directions, all the principals of JNTUK affiliated colleges are informed that the I-Mid Examinations of I B.Tech. II Semester scheduled to commence from 02.01.2019 (Wednesday) are rescheduled. The rescheduled dates of the examinations will be announced later. APJAKTU Examinations postponed – Proposed nation wide strike & holidays coming immediately after the Christmas Vacation: THE Kerala Technological University’s (KTU) decision to reschedule the semester examinations of various courses under the varsity, including B.Tech scheduled to be held from January 1, has sparked fresh controversy as the immediate schedule change was allegedly due to the government’s pressure to ensure good participation in the upcoming Women’s Wall ( Vanitha Mathil).

APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (initially Kerala Technological University),a State Government University has come into existence on May 21, 2014 with an aim to give leadership to the technology related policy formulation and Engineering Planning for the State.

How ever, top officers of APJAKTU made it clear that the postponement was due to the proposed nationwide strike and holidays coming immediately after the Christmas vacation.

As per the revised timetable issued by the Controller of Examinations, S Shabu, a total of six-semester examinations of B.Tech, M.Tech and architecture examinations have been postponed to January 14.

Similarly, the examinations scheduled for January 8 and 9 have also been postponed to January 21 and 22 respectively. In total, 28 examinations have been rescheduled including the semester examinations of MCA course.

Coming down heavily on government, Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said that the reschedule of examinations was uncalled for and it was due to the unwanted pressure from the government.

Earlier, there was stiff opposition from various quarters for forcing people to participate in the Women’s Wall. However; the government said that they will not insist anyone to attend it. According to senior officers of KTU, the rescheduling of the examinations is due to the strike and other holidays. “The rescheduling of exams was not due to Women’s Wall. We have revised it for the convenience of the students,” said a top officer of the APJAKTU.
