SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2017 (Revised) – Check Cutoff Marks, Qualified Candidates List at ssc.nic.in

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2017: The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I)-2017 in Computer Based Mode. The Examinations were conducted from 05th to 24th August 2017 at various Centres all over the country. 15,43,418 candidates appeared in the said Examination. Students can check ssc cgl tier 1 result along with selected candidates list region wise from below with hall ticket number.

The result of Tier-I of CGLE, 2017 was declared on 30.10.2017 after considering representations of the candidates and finalization of Answer Keys. However, it was discovered that due to a technical glitch, a few tentative Answer Keys had not been revised. The Commission, therefore, undertook a comprehensive review. Based on the comprehensive review undertaken by the Commission, there has been a lowering in the cut off marks which has resulted in the revision of the result.

The Category-wise details of candidates who have qualified for Tier-II & Tier-III and cut-off applied for each category are given in the Tables below:

List-II : Candidates qualified in Tier-I for appearing in Tier-II (Paper-I, Paper-II, Paper-III (Statistics)) and Tier-III

While processing the result, it was found that 15 candidates have appeared in the examination twice and 47 candidates who have been debarred by the Commission for unfair means have appeared in the examination. The result of these 62 candidates has not been processed. It is proposed to cancel the candidature of all the 62 candidates. List of 62 said candidates has already been uploaded on the website of Commission

Pursuant to existing Court Orders, the results of 10 candidates with Roll Numbers – 2201026842, 2201045468, 2201062554, 2201098871, 2201105924, 2201272135, 2201293503, 2201325697, 2402006180, 2402019194 have not been declared.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved, as per the policy of the Government must contact the respective Regional Offices of the Commission immediately if they do not belong to the category shown against their Roll numbers.

The details of the candidates in List-I, List-II and List-III have been uploaded on the website of the Commission.

Changes and Corrections in Name

(i) Correction in name means correction in spelling errors, factual errors, typographical errors in candidate’s Name/Surname, Father’s Name/Mother’s Name to make it consistent with what is given in the school record.

Change in name also includes alteration, addition, deletion to make it different from the school records.

(ii) Application for correction in name may be considered any time provided that the application of the candidate is forwarded with the following documents:

(a) Admission form(s) filled in by the parents at the time of admission.

(b) The School Leaving Certificate of the previous school submitted by the parents of the candidate at the time of admission.

(c) Portion of the page of admission and withdrawal register of the school where the entry has been made in respect of the candidate.

(iii) The Board may effect necessary corrections after verification of the Original records of the school and on payment of the prescribed fee.

(iv) Applications regarding change in name/surname will be considered where such changes have been permitted by a Court of Law and notified in a Government Gazette. In the event of Court of Judicature allowing the change of name of a candidate, the same shall be carried out by the Board after obtaining relevant documents concerning change of name published in an official gazette.

Change/Correction in Date of Birth

(i) No change in the date of birth once recorded in the Board’s records shall be made. However,corrections to correct typographical and other errors to make the certificate consistent with the school records can be made provided that corrections in the school records should not have been made after the submission of application form for admission to Examination to the Board.

(ii) Such correction in Date of Birth of a candidate in case of genuine clerical errors will be made under orders of the Chairman where it is established to the satisfaction of the Chairman that the wrong entry was made erroneously in the list of candidates/application form of the candidate for the examination.

(iii) Request for correction in Date of Birth shall be forwarded by the Head of the School alongwith attested Photostat copies of :

(a) application for admission of the candidate to the School;

(b) portion of the page of admission and withdrawal register where entry in date of birth has been made; and

(c) the School Leaving Certificate of the previous school submitted at the time of admission.

(iv) The application for correction in date of birth duly forwarded by the Head of School alongwith documents mentioned in byelaws 69.2(iii) shall be entertained by the Board only within two years of the date of declaration of result of Class X examination. No correction whatsoever shall be made on application submitted after the said period of two years. This will be effective from the examination to be held in March, 1995.

Eligibility Criteria : –

(1) Age : – The applicant must not be less than 18 (Eighteen) years old and must not be more than 27 (Twenty Seven) years old as on 01.01.2018. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 05 (Five) years for the candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST) and by 03 (Three) years for the candidates belonging to the category of Other Backward Classes (OBC). The NVF and Home Guard personnel serving in West Bengal Police are also eligible for relaxation of upper age limit as per existing Government order.

(2) Education Qualifications : – The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

(i) The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online written test and interview/group discussion. The test will be conducted tentatively on 25.02.2018. EXAMINATION; Pattern of Test

Interview/ Group Discussion: Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview/Group Discussion. Group Discussion will carry 20 marks and Interview 30 marks. In case Group Discussion is not held, Interview will carry 50 marks. The qualifying marks in Interview/ Group Discussion will be as decided by the Bank. Conduct of Group Discussion may be waived at the discretion of Bank.

Merit List: Marks secured by the candidates in Group Discussion / Interview out of 50 marks will be converted to out of 25 marks. The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating the marks of Professional Knowledge test out of 100 marks and the converted marks secured in Group Discussion/ Interview out of 25 marks (Total- 125 marks). The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.

(vi) Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online well before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability/failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet or website jam.

(vii)SBI does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of SBI.

(viii)Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the last valid (completed) application will be retained and the application fee/intimation charges paid for the other registrations will stand forfeited. Multiple attendance/appearance by a candidate in online examination and/interview will be summarily rejected/ candidature cancelled.

(ix) The possibility of occurrence of some problems in the administration of the examination cannot be ruled out completely, which may impact test delivery and/or result from being generated. In that event, every effort will be made to rectify such problem, which may include the conduct of another examination if considered necessary.

(x) IN CASE IT IS DETECTED AT ANY STAGE OF RECRUITMENT THAT A CANDIDATE DOES NOT FULFIL THE ELIGIBILITY NORMS AND/OR THAT HE/SHE HAS FURNISHED ANY INCORRECT/FALSE INFORMATION OR HAS SUPPRESSED ANY MATERIAL FACT(S), HIS/HER CANDIDATURE WILL STAND CANCELLED. TSPSC Gurukulam PGT Results 2017: Final Results for Telangana Post Graduate Teachers (MATHEMATICS, BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE, PHYSICAL SCIENCE AND SOCIAL STUDIES) are released at  tspsc.gov.in. It is hereby notified that on the basis of the Main Examination held on 18/07/2017 and 19/07/2017 and subsequent Certificate Verification process held on 20/10/2017, 31/10/2017, 01/11/2017, 02/11/2017, 08/12/2017, 15/12/2017 and 19/12/2017 at Sankethika Vidya Bhavan, Masab Tank, Hyderabad for Direct Recruitment (General) to the post of Post Graduate Teachers (Mathematics, Biological Science, Physical Science and Social Studies) in various Residential Educational Institutions Societies 475 candidates with the following Hall Ticket Numbers have been provisionally selected for appointment to the post of Post Graduate Teachers (Mathematics, Biological Science, Physical Science and Social Studies) in various Residential Educational Institutions Societies Notification No.13/2017, Dt: 14/04/2017. However, the results of the VH candidates will be declared later. The selections are published here-with subject to the following conditions.

1) That success in the Examination confers no right to appointment unless the appointing authority is satisfied after such enquiry as the case may be considered necessary that the candidate having regard to his/her character and antecedents is suitable in all respects for appointment to the service.

2) That the candidates are found physically fit for the post.

3) That the candidates should produce such original certificates as required in accordance with the Rules / Notification.

Note: The candidates who are selected for the PGT posts (Mathematics/ Biological Science/ Physical Science/ Social Studies) and have been picked up for TGT Certificate Verification also are requested to relinquish their claim for TGT posts so that the Commission can select any other candidate according to Rules as per 6-A of TSPSC Rules of Procedure. The relinquishment form is provided with this Selection Notification vide web link which will be available from 03/01/2018 on website www.tspsc.gov.in.

If it comes to the notice of the Commission later that any candidate furnished false information or the selection is not in order due to any act of omission or Commission of any candidate then his/her provisional selection is liable to be cancelled at any stage and they will forfeit all consequential benefits including that of selection. Besides that, the Commission reserves the right to take any action as it deems fit in the circumstances of the case, in terms of the provisions as notified in TSPSC Rules of Procedure published in Telangana State Gazette No.60., Dt: 28/12/2015.

With this Notification of selection, the General Recruitment process notified vide Notification No.13/2017 for the post of Post Graduate Teachers in various Residential Educational Institutions Societies has been finally concluded except VH vacancies. The selections are subject to the final outcome of W.P.s and other cases pending, if any, before the Hon’ble Courts of Law.
