In addition, candidates taking the ISC Examination will also be provided with digitally signed copies of the Migration Certificate. The digitally signed documents shall be available after 48 hours of the Publication of Results through the DigiLocker.

Signing up for DigiLocker (digilocker.gov.in) is easy – all you need is a mobile number. The mobile number will be authenticated by sending an OTP (one-time password) followed by selecting a username and password. This will create the DigiLocker account. After the DigiLocker account is successfully created, one can download the digitally signed documents issued by the CISCE.

About WBBME: The Madrasah Education system in Bengal was grown up and flourished with the foundation of the Calcutta Madrasah in 1780 by the British East India Company. In 1915, the new scheme of Madrasah Education was introduced by the initiatives of Moulana Abu Nasar Mohammad Waheed, I.E.S., the renowned educationist and administrator and the then Principal of Dacca Senior Madrasah. The East Bengal Secondary Education Board (1921), the Board of Islamic Intermediate and Secondary Education Dacca for High Madrasah Education (1922) and the Central Madrasah Examination Board for Senior Madrasah Education (1927) were established to conduct the Madrasah Examinations till 1947. As per recommendation of the Moazzamuddin Committee (1946), the Central Madrasah Examination Board was converted to the Madrasah Education Board, Bengal and later, in 1950 it was renamed as the West Bengal Madrasah Education Board, the oldest Board of Madrasah Education in our Country.

Madrasah Education in West Bengal: The term ‘Madrasah’ is an Arabic word meaning educational institution or school imparting education to all irrespective of religion, caste, creed and gender. The idea that it imparts religious and theology based education to a particular religion is not true. In fact, the Madrasah education in West Bengal is fulfilling the constitutional commitment by providing access to free education up to secondary level for the most deprived people most of whom are first generation learners live in rural areas where avenues and opportunities are markedly limited. Most of the Madrasahs are situated in the remote rural areas of the state and they were founded with the initiative of community donations. In course of time, these Madrasahs were recognised by the Board and funded by the Government. West Bengal was the first state to offer recognition to Madrasahs and to convert the Board into statutory body in 1994. Recognizing the importance of Madrasah education in the state the Department namely Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education along with the Directorate of Madrasah Education and a separate teaching & non-teaching staff recruitment commission for Madrasahs namely Madrasah Service Commission has also been established has been created and is now functional.

Step wise guidelines for DOST admission process 2024:

1. Open http://dost.cgg.gov.in website.

2. You will find the home page with the six university logos and various instructions, information of Colleges, Courses etc.

3. Thoroughly read all the instructions on the home page such as Check List, Student Instructions and browse the Colleges and Course list .

4. Click on “Register” button for registration process.

5. UG Online Admission Payment Form will appear. Please fill in the Student Details in the form.

6. After filling the UG Online Admission Payment Form click on Proceed to Payment button.

7. Payment gateway page will appear. Pay your online application fee using your Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking facility.

8. If payment is successful you will see a message which looks like below.

“Your payment was Successfull for Rs.100/- on DD/MM/2017…Your Transaction Id is XXXXXXXXXX and Acknowledgment no. for your Application is: XXXXXXXXXXXX”

9. Please write down your application number. Also you will receive SMS with your application no. to your registered mobile no.

10. Click on the application button next to home,the UG Online Admission Form FOR ACADEMIC YEAR : 2024-25 will appear.

11. For students of Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana , some of your information will be auto filled by the software and you complete the remaining information.

12. For students who belong to the boards other than Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana all the details must be entered by the student.

13. Please enter equivalent percentage of CGPA accurately.

14. After furnishing all the details, click on the Preview button.

15 . Verify your Details once again and Press “SUBMIT” button to submit UG Online Admission Form.

16. DOST Online Admission Registration Payments Status and Web Options page will appear.
