GITAM GAT 2018 Notification, Apply Online, Exam Dates, Eligibility criteria, courses offered, online exam centres are available at GITAM Admission Test official website i.e., gitam.edu. GAT (GITAM Admission Test) – 2018 will be conducted online for admission to UG and PG programs of Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy offered at Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru Campuses.
GAT 2018 Eligibility criteria:
Admission to B.Tech., B.Arch., Dual Degree (B.Tech. + M.Tech.) & B.Pharm. Programs
Pass in Intermediate or 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks for B.Arch./B.Pharm.) in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2018 or 2017 and Rank obtained in GAT(UGTP)-2018. Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. program should qualify in NATA / JEE (Main) paper-2. y Candidates with Mathematics / Biology, Physics & Chemistry subjects are eligible for B.Tech. Biotechnology (60% aggregate marks in group and First Class/equivalent grade) and B.Pharmacy.
Admission to M.Tech. , M.Arch. & M.Pharm. Programs
First class or equivalent grade in the Qualifying Examination from recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks for M.Arch.) and rank obtained in GAT (PGTA) 2018. For branch wise eligibility criteria visit www.gitam.edu.

How to Apply
Candidates can apply in any one of the following methods: i) Apply online at www.gitam.edu through Debit card / Credit card (Master / VISA)
To Apply online
- Mode of Payment – Internet Banking facility through Net Banking / Debit card / Credit card. For Candidates applying through Net Banking/ Debit Card / Credit Card there is no need to send the hardcopy of the application form.
- Mode of Payment – Demand Draft-Applicants need to send the hardcopy of the application along with DD to The Director-Admissions.
ii) Applications can be obtained by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate’s name with complete mailing address accompanied by DD for ` 150/- drawn in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank. Request for applications by post will be accepted upto 24th March, 2018.
iii) Applications are also available throughout India in select branches of

The filled – in application along with Demand Draft for Rs 1,000/- (Rs 600/- for female candidates), drawn in favor of GITAM UNIVERSITY, payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank, should reach Director-Admissions, GITAM UNIVERSITY, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam – 530 045, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA on or before 26th March, 2018.
GAT-2018 ONLINE TEST CENTRES:
The University will conduct online admission test at the following 48 test centres.
Merit List for Admissions
i) The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the rank obtained in the GAT – 2018 subject to the rule of reservation as per UGC guidelines / norms as applicable to the University. A candidate qualified in GAT – 2018 will be eligible for admission only if he / she fulfils the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination as per the eligibility criteria.
ii) 25% of seats are reserved for meritorious students from Karnataka State for admission at Bengaluru Campus.
Important points to note :
i) HALL TICKETS will not be sent by post.
ii) The University is not responsible for delay in receipt or loss of Application.
iii) In all matters in the conduct of GAT – 2018, the decision of the Vice-Chancellor will be final. All disputes pertaining to GAT – 2018 shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Visakhapatnam.
iv) Every effort has been made by GITAM University to ensure the correctness of the information provided in this document. However, in case of a conflict in interpretation, the decision of the Vice-Chancellor is final and binding on those who apply for GAT – 2018.
