Ref: Lr.No.APSCHE/Secy/Bio-metric Attendance/2017, dated 16.10.2017 of the Secretary, APSCHE, Amaravati.

In the reference cited, the APSCHE has informed to make the implementation of Biometric attendance system mandatory in the Constituent/Affiliated Colleges /Units of the University. It is also informed that the staff and students should register in Vidyawaan Website and attendance should be through e-attendance only w.e.f. 01.12.2017. The APSCHE has also constituted Committees to monitor the implementation of Aadhar based Bio-metric attendance in the Universities and Affiliated colleges, details of which are herewith annexed.

In the said letter, APSCHE further mentioned to approve the extension of affiliations and ratification of UG/PG admissions of students in the affiliated colleges, only after implementation of the Bio-metric attendance, in such Colleges.

In this connection, I am by direction, request you to see that ‘Bio-metric Attendance’ system is implemented in all the Colleges/Units of JNTUK without fail. They may contact the following Committee Member in case of assistance/ clarification on the above Subject.

The students approach the University for the issue of the certificate stating that the Medium of Instruction, during the tenure of their study is English which is needed for the studies in some of the foreign Universities.

It is proposed to collect an amount of Rs.100/- for Medium of Instruction certificate on par with Migration certificate, in view of the hike in cost of printing of the certificate with security features.

Under the circumstances as stated above, the Honb’le Vice Chancellor is pleased to permit to collect an amount of Rs. 100/- for Medium of Instruction certificate with effect from 01.12.2017.

Admission to B.Tech., B.Arch., Dual Degree (B.Tech. + M.Tech.) & B.Pharm. Programs

Pass in Intermediate or 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks for B.Arch./B.Pharm.) in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2018 or 2017 and Rank obtained in GAT(UGTP)-2018. Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. program should qualify in NATA / JEE (Main) paper-2. y Candidates with Mathematics / Biology, Physics & Chemistry subjects are eligible for B.Tech. Biotechnology (60% aggregate marks in group and First Class/equivalent grade) and B.Pharmacy.

GAT-2018 ONLINE TEST CENTRES:

The University will conduct online admission test at the following 48 test centres.

Merit List for Admissions

i) The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the rank obtained in the GAT – 2018 subject to the rule of reservation as per UGC guidelines / norms as applicable to the University. A candidate qualified in GAT – 2018 will be eligible for admission only if he / she fulfils the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination as per the eligibility criteria.

ii) 25% of seats are reserved for meritorious students from Karnataka State for admission at Bengaluru Campus.

i) HALL TICKETS will not be sent by post.

ii) The University is not responsible for delay in receipt or loss of Application.

iii) In all matters in the conduct of GAT – 2018, the decision of the Vice-Chancellor will be final. All disputes pertaining to GAT – 2018 shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Visakhapatnam.

Online Payment procedure had been introduced for applying TATKAL PROVISIONAL Certificates. The Candidates those who are applying for the (OD, PC, MIGRATION) certificate are requested to upload Educational Details (like PC, CMM, SSC, PHOTO) and Personal details in online-application after the next day of bank payment.

Candidates those who are not uploading the details like educational,personal details within 5 days are kept pending. you can check the status of the applied certificate like (OD, MIGRATION, PC) from the status of application tab. Once the applied certificate like (OD, MIGRATION, PC) is printed, the details are removed from the server.
