The SSC CGL Exam pattern consists of 4 Stages as mentioned below:

Procedure for Online Submission of Application

  1. On-line application facility will be available from 16.05.2017 to 16.06.2017 (5:00PM).
  2. Online submission of the application may be made at website www.ssc.nic.in. Instructions are available at the site. Candidate should read the instructions carefully before making any entry or selecting options. Candidate should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. Mandatory fields are marked with * (asterisk) sign. The filling of online application contains two parts :
  3. A page with Registration No. will now be generated. Note down the registration number or take out the print out of the page. Candidates may note that the Registration number given by the Commission and Transaction ID of the Bank should be properly entered in the relevant space.   7. Those who are exempted from payment of fee can skip steps 4 to 6.

This reservation is subject to the availability of suitable eligible candidates. Reservation for Persons with Disability: In G.O.Ms.No.13, Welfare of Differently Abled Persons (DAP.3.2) Department, dated 02.03.2016, the Post Graduate Teacher Post is identified as suitable for the persons with the following category of Disability.

Qualifications:

Age Limit : Candidates should not be over 57 years as on 1-7-2017 as the age of superannuation is 58 years

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess a Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed. Degree awarded by an University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. The qualification prescribed above for this post should have been obtained by passing the required qualification after completing 10th and H.Sc. (or its equivalent) followed by an U.G. Degree.

Note: All qualifying certificates should have been obtained prior to the last date for submission of filled-in applications, announced in the recruitment notification.

Equivalent Qualifications: If a candidate claims that the educational qualification in the subject possessed by him/her is equivalent to, though not the same, as those prescribed for the appointment, he/she has to produce the subject equivalence G.O issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu at the time of Certificate Verification.

Examination fee:

a. The candidates have to pay a fees of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST and differently abled candidates) towards examination fee payable only through online net banking /credit card / debit card.

b. The candidates have also to pay the service charges as applicable for online payment.

Selection:

After certificate verification, the total marks secured by each candidate will be arrived at by adding weightage marks to the written examination marks. A fresh merit list will then be prepared on this basis. Selection will be made from the fresh merit list duly following merit-cum-communal rotation.

Notification:

  • In the Notification Rc.No.202/R&T/Rect.2/2016, ddt:22-07-2016, it was stated that in Para-02(A) (i.e., Distribution of vacancies for Post Code Nos.21 & 22 in the different Units), Limited Recruitment vacancies(i.e., backlog vacancies) and Direct Recruitment vacancies for the posts of SCT Police Constable(Civil) (Men & Women), SCT Police Constable (Armed Reserve) (Men & Women) in Police Department, were notified.
  • The Government vide G.O.Ms.No.76, Finance (HR-1 Plg. & Policy) Dept., dt:10-05-2017, have accorded permission to fill-up 800 vacancies in addition to the vacancies already accorded permission vide G.O.Ms.No.110, Finance (HR-I Plg. & Policy) Dept.,dt:17-6-2016, by direct recruitment for the posts Police Constables for Civil and Armed Reserve in the following Districts through the A.P. State Level Police Recruitment Board, as details shown below:-

  • In view of this G.O., the total notified vacancies for the [post of SCT PC(Civil) (Men & Women) becomes 3816 (i.e., 3216 notified earlier and 600 added now). Also the total notified vacancies for the post of SCT PC(AR) (Men & Women) becomes 1267 (i.e., 1067 notified earlier and 200 added now).
  • In view of the above, the following amendment is given for the Notification issued in Rc. No. 202/R&T/Rect.2/2016, dt: 22-07-2016.

AMENDMENT

In the said Notification against Para-2(A) the following is substituted (i.e., Distribution of vacancies for the Post Code Nos.21 & 22, in the following Units.

NOTE:

  1. L.R. – Limited Recruitment (Backlog vacancies) – All these vacancies will be filled with the local candidates of the respective Unit only.
  2. D.R. – Direct Recruitment (The vacancies include vacancies for Special Categories under Rule-3(D) of A.P. Police (SCT) Rules.
