Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a well-known software/information technology (IT) company having lakhs of employees across the globe. TCS recently announced the 3-day office work in the office workplace. The TCS has brought a new work strategy. According to that salaries of employees will be hiked by 6-8 percent for the employees.

Due to the COVID surge, working from home has become the only option for all companies for the past 2 years. Now, the companies are rethinking opening office workplaces as the COVID conditions were better in recent days. Many of the companies restarted their offices. In this regard, TCS is also planning to open an office. The TCS is rethinking about the opening of office as the 4th wave threat and monkeypox are feared.

To resolve this situation, TCS has come up with a solution. That is working from home as well as office in alternate days. As per the TCS’s new hybrid-strategy, employees will have to work 3 days in their respective workplaces.

Also, it was known that not all the employees were included in this. Senior-level/manager-level employees have to work from the office for 3 working days out of a week. In remaining working days, they are supposed to work from home.

TCS also announced a hike in the salaries of the employees. Also, TCS is getting ready to offer the traveling allowances to the employees. The TCS employees will get 6 to 8 percent of the hike on their present pay scale. The company got good profits during the COVID time. Hence, the TCS authorities were planning to give increments to the employees as a token of gratitude.
